Champagne Lelarge-Pugeot came to Tokyo last November and organized a dinner to showcase their products in Tokyo. We ate at Le Verre Velo the sister restaurant of one in Paris of the same name. We started of with Champagne but moved to bio wine from different parts of France. I will explain my impression of the wines in the next few posts.
Harvest is here...
Last thursday, we started our official 2014 vintage, with a very warm weather… (it does not feel like september in Champagne).
Our real first harvest was September 8th. We harvested 2800kg of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir to start the mother of our child, "pied de cuve", yeast…
Harvest is going great, fruits are happy. We harvested Chardonnay yesterday and today (sugar levels are about at 10.20g/L, beautiful acidity).
More update will be coming soon…
