DEAD COMIC MASTERPOST
Chanda is over and will receive no additional updates.
That’s the short of it. I can understand the frustrations of my followers for me ending a comic, but first and foremost I draw for myself. I reached a point where I was no longer interested in drawing Chanda and wanted to apply what I had learned from it to something new. Ending a comic short isn’t something that bothers me - after all, a few of my favorite artists have had multiple canned or prematurely ended comics and it didn’t impact my enjoyment of their work. I can’t expect my followers to think the same, but I try and make things I enjoy or that, at least while making it, entertain me.
Chanda’s over, but I intend to keep drawing comics. If you’re not interested in reading something that you worry may be canned, that’s fine.
I decided to write up a massive retrospective on all of my comics (under this name) and what I’ve learned, so if you’re interested in an artist’s thoughts on their own work, click here:
THE DEAD COMICS RETROSPECTIVE
(WARNING: This is largely written for me, so it’s stream of consciousness and way too long. WAY too long. 9 pages, bitch! Just know what you’re getting into.)
That’s all, folks. Thanks for joining me.
