This is a semi-selective independent roleplay blog for Princess Merida from the pixar movie Brave....

Then I will make you a starter in the morning for Pascal. Although Merida doesn't approve of Pascal being thrown at her --- unless he's a chameleon then he probably would have gotten stuck and lost in her hair. Poor baby.
out of arrows: It's 3am and for some reason I woke up at 3 hours of sleep and I'm wide awake. So I'm just gonna lurk stalk Kels' blogs for a bit until I fall asleep again. I really need some threads over here, lol.
Hey! Avatar Korra here! I might not be the bridge between worlds anymore but I’m ready to help bring…
Hi! I’m a new Korra roleplayer and I’m looking for people to interact with. I’m completely fine with roleplaying Korra at point during the LoK timeline and I’m open to any sort of AU or verse.
If you could please like/reblog this for me to follow and hopefully plot with you, then it would be greatly appreciated!
"How sure are you ‘bout that?" he asked her, but playfully of course. It had been a long time since he’d spoken to her properly, so he was quite happy to avoid his paperwork for a few hours. "Alright, I need to take a book back to the library anyway," he nodded, quickly fetching said book from the arm of the sofa and returning to his friend. He unhooked his jacket from the hook and smirked across at her as he pulled it on. "Gonna get me drunk?" he asked with a chuckle.
“Yer righ’, actually. Ah’m no’ very sure.” She shrugged with a teasing grin. Merida knew he loved her like a sister, like she did with him as a brother. They had been through so much not to at least care. “Oh wow, ye can read?” She laughed before sticking her tongue out. Merida could read too but she wasn’t an avid reader. Whenever Queen Elinor thought Merida was actually reading the teenager had been doodling away on a page of loose paper.
She snorted, “Why wuid ah need tae get ye drunk?” Still, she shrugged. “Maybe the bar’s been a wee bit lonely withoot ye.” Mako didn’t come down anymore – he didn’t really drink. Tyra had been busy keeping Mako in line… really, she needed a friend to help the day go by quicker. “Ye can tell me all the gossip that ah’ve missed.”

"You wanna try eating that?" Mako asked, pointing a finger at the sink. "Then be my guest. But I’m not going to be nursing you back to health when you get sick from it." That was lie but he wasn’t about to tell her that. If anything did happen to Merida then he would be by his girlfriend’s side in a matter of seconds. He just didn’t want that to happen in the first place. "I do appreciate the effort though…Just like I did when you baked me that cake on my birthday." Though they then got into a fight over that but Mako didn’t want to bring that part up again.
"No what I have here are the bare basics," he explained as he went back to the fridge. "You need all of that to make a decent one but it usually tastes better with other things thrown in. Vegetables and meat work best…Want me to put in some red peppers and some chicken?"
The redhead grumbled under her breath as she listened to the firebender. She normally wouldn't have even attempted to eat such a thing (or cook it in the first place) but she had tried her best to make him something to eat and he was throwing back her attempt in her face. I do appreciate the effort though. “Does'nae feel like it.” She snapped as she pursed her lips together in a pout. Merida couldn't help it --- it was never like her to try and do something like that. The princess had never paid attention when it came to learning how to cook; it never really mattered when you liked to eat apples.
“Tha' cake was a disaster. This is a disaster. Are ye sure ye even want tae teach me how tae cook.”
Even if he wasn't teaching her how to cook and only showing her how to make an omelette Merida couldn't see this going very well. When Mako questioned if she wanted to have some red peppers and chicken in the egg she shrugged her shoulders in a reply. She didn't know what she wanted – and right now she was a bit too disheartened by her failed attempt to pay attention to her 'teacher'. “Dae whit ye want...”
He raised his eyebrows as she admitted to not being a great student. “Don’t I know it,” he sighed, rolling his eyes. “Too stubborn.” With a quick glance around and a look at his watch, he shrugged. “Alright. Meant to be doin’ paperwork, but…”
“Hey, ye love me really.” She retorted whilst flashing a grin that showed her freckled dimples. Merida had missed this; it had been far too long since she had a day alone with Texas. It was good to catch up -but they could do the catching up bit later. “Paperwork,” She rolled her eyes. “Smaperwork, come wi' me. Ah'll be far mair entertaining.” Which was probably going to be true --- when she set her eyes on the computer and internet for the first time. “Afterwards we can go back tae the bar an' ah'll get ye a drink. On the hoose o' course.”
"Bloody hell," Tex muttered under his breath. "I’m gonna take you to the library one day and sit you at a computer and show you the internet and some infomercials. And then you’ll see where I got the hawaii chair from."
"Ye wanna be my teacher?" Merida snorted as she looked at Texas. "Ah'm all fer it, but ye should know tha' ah've ne'er been the greatest o' students." Her mother would have confirmed that by a mile --- but the Queen wasn't around. "Ah've got time on my hands if yer available, Teach."
"As in the internet. Come on, Flames, tell me you’ve heard of the internet…?" he queried, hoping he wouldn’t have to explain it to her. "Ever seen an infomercial?"
The redhead looked at her friend, brother figure even, as she raised her brow at the word 'internet'. "Sorry," She shook her head of unruly curls. "Ne'er heard o' it." She could have asked Mako, but she had a feeling he wouldn't know about it ever. "Whit's an infomercial... tha's a weird word."
"Where do you even find this sort of thing?"
Tex shrugged. “Online.”
"Whit dae ye mean by online?" Merida questioned as she gave an odd confused look at Texas. She may have been around more modern type men and in Republic City but she was sure she had never heard that term before.

"Sheriff Swan!" Merida, or Meredith, whichever - she normally went by Mer anyway, called as she saw the blonde. The vet’s assistant ran over to her as she looked around. "Ah dinnae suppose ye’ve seen a wee dog runnin’ aroond?"
"He sorta got away fae me when we were playin’ fetch."
