At that last statement, Henry nodded a little, glancing around. Judging by the girl’s accent, he was quite a way away from Storybrooke.

”Yeah, I kinda think I am. It’s…it’s kinda a long story.”

"Nice t' meet ye, too, 'Enry," The Scot grinned at the young boy, before reaching for the tiny wolf in front of her. The pup didn't protest as she was lifted into Merida's pale, freckled, arms.

"Go on, pet 'er. She's nice, I swear," "Wha' are ye doin' out in the woods all on yer own? Ye lost or somethin'?"

”We’d be down one member of this conversation. Next time I’ll warn you before you fire an arrow at some poor person who happens to be in the way.” Elsa chuckled, her eyes alight with mirth and happiness. With years and years between visits, Merida had grown up the same way that she and her own sister had. She was smiling and it was contagious, giving the other girl wicked smirk. ”I promise my next entrance will knock you off your feet, Merida. I actually came specifically to strengthen the bonds, if you will. Make sure all the blood continues to be good between our families.”

With sudden arms around her, Elsa froze in place - unsure of how to react but comfortable none-the-less. She let an arm settle around the red-head’s waist, softening her look. ”But even though I might have come for politics, I couldn’t have missed out on seeing you. I need to make an effort to come more often. I’ve missed you.”

Blimey, she'd forgotten how much she missed Elsa. The last time she'd seen the blonde and her sister Anna had to be years ago-- Maybe even five years ago by now. In their remote kingdoms, Merida didn't often get visitors, especially visitors the same age as she. So Elsa and Anna's visits had always been something she'd looked forward too-- Even if the girls weren't exactly as rough around the edges at she was. And it seemed Elsa had really grown up-- She looked more like a queen than anything else. "Oh, it better. And yer next entrance better be less than five years away, Elsa," Merida laughed, but she held onto the hug, burying her nose in the older girl's neck and squeezing her tight before releasing her-- Despite the fact that she was pretty obviously uncomfortable.
