Rogue was working solo at the moment and had decided it was starting to get dark so she set up a small camp for the night. She had bagged a few rabbits to eat and those were currently cooking over a fire. She hadn’t eaten in a while so this was great for her as far as she was concerned…that was until she heard some footsteps close by. She stood up and took a defensive stance although not quite pulling out her sword yet…

"Hello…? Who is that? Reveal yourself!" She she demanded in a rather stern tone. She did NOT like getting snuck up on and she wasn’t going to let it happen.

Gold had been wandering, he had gotten separated from his group and was a bit worried. He wasn't exactly the most bravest person. But he had to be strong and at least put on a brave face until he found his company once more.

Gold shivered slightly as he heard a voice call out to him. He was going to be doomed. Gold let out a soft whimper before he began to speak in a small voice. "...I... I'm sorry... I'm G-Gold... I just got a li-little lost..."

The other didn't seem too interested, not like Gold was either. Wandering was boring and there wasn't much to do. Having his freedom wasn't as great as he thought it'd be. Maybe it was because he had grown used to being trapped...

Trees always had brought images of flames to Gold, something that utterly terrified him and he had no idea why. He had been told that tree were just dangerous because they simply were. But he was only told that after he talked about what he saw.

"Are you here by yourself?" Gold asked as he crouched down, staring at the other with a small frown on his face. This person didn't seem to want to talk too much. Too bad for her.

A warm smile came upon her face. “I’m glad.” She answered.

"By the way… do you have an interest for billiards pool? I could practice a match today." She offered, more as a small test. Yes, she has been keeping up with practicing whenever she could. Though.. her habit of fishing remained too.

Billiards pool? That had been something that Gold had been interested while being taught. Not that he was allowed to play it. He was pretty good when he did managed to play it...

"I'm... I'm not allowed to play. I-I mean. I can play but I haven't played in a while be-because I--" It probably sounded stupid. So damn stupid but there was no other way to tell the tale. "I'd be willing to try a shot at playing again."

Eleina was sitting with her back against a tree, petting a Zoura that had wandered up to her. She seemed frustrated for some reason.

Bored. Gold was bored. He had been wandering around for a while now. Nothing good was going to come out of this. Every single thing that happened was always no good.

'Wandering dulls the mind and promotes stupidity'. That's what the old cots used to tell Gold. Not that they really knew anything. Actually, they did probably know more than Gold in a sense.

He spotted someone sitting under a tree. How fun. How stupid. Trees were dangerous. At least that's what Gold had been told. "...Hello...?" Gold asked softly.

She tilted her head for a moment then. He didn’t seem to be fine. Not when he straightened himself up like that upon hearing her. However, she wasn’t going to push it. “Did you get it out?” She asked. Honestly, having something be sad about wasn’t nothing. But… she wasn’t going to pry.

Golden hues focused on the other. Memory trying to place her. Hadn't they met before? Maybe once? Maybe he had read about her? Gold took a deep breath before nodding his head. He wasn't too big on talking when it wasn't needed.

"I'm fine. I feel much better now. I can't feel anything in my eye anymore. No need to worry about me." Gold said as he shifted awkwardly. He wasn't used to talking to someone who was actually pretty nice.

A young lady was just leaving the town to head back to the cabin where she had always lived. It was her uncle’s but she was okay with living there. As she walked along, her pace slowed to a stop as she saw someone there as if they were in pain. Did she know them? …She wasn’t sure, but they did look familiar. Almost like…

She stopped coming closer to see. …Was it? No, he could be..! This had to be some sort of joke! But… there he was. He looked so different… However, she wasn’t about to jump to conclusions. After all, it has been years since she last saw him. He probably isn’t who she may think him to be anyways. “Excuse me.. are you alright? Do you need help?” She asked him.

The tears wouldn't stop. It just wasn't fair. Why couldn't he remember? There had to be something that had happened to him. Something, a reason why they were living in ashes. There had to be a reason but nothing came.

A soft sob escaped Gold's lips as he glanced up when he heard someone talking to him. He had to pull himself together... he had been taught that showing emotions would only get you hurt...

This person. Gold was having a weird feeling. This person almost seemed... familiar... Gold quickly regained his composer and waved slightly. "...I am fine. Don't worry about me. I merely had something stuck in my eye." Gold lied. Lying was wrong but Gold didn't care. Anything was better than talking about things.

Blank eyes, emotionless face. Staring deep into space. Gold wasn't sure what to do anymore. Everything was messed up again. There was something that he felt like he should remember. A time from before those strangers picked him and his siblings up.

Laughter come out of the raven haired male's lips. He was an adult now and he still couldn't remember from before hen was found by those awful strangers. Why had him and his siblings been living off of berries? Why had they been all alone? Nothing made sense.

Tears were starting to form in Gold's eyes again. He couldn't remember. And that wasn't a surprise. He hadn't been able to remember for years. There was always the faint memory of there being other people with him. Kids around his own age instead of the two younger siblings he had. Why couldn't he remember?

Gold let out a frustrated cry as his lips curled down in disgust. He never could remember so why would this change now. The normally emotionless boy started to cry. He just felt to helpless and worthless...
