Why am I happy for Jongin? Let me fucking tell you. This boy started training with SM in 2007 when he was only 13 years old. He gave up his freedom and the chance at a normal youth/life in general for the sake of his dream. He worked his ass off for 5 goddamn years to finally debut, and then worked even harder for the next 4. He has not had a proper break in almost a decade and has gone through so many hardships that we cannot even imagine. I have seen him work himself to the point of exhaustion, soaked in his own sweat. I’ve seen him choking on his tears, unable to form coherent sentences. I’ve seen him trying to bite back his pain to get through a performance. I’ve seen him collapse on stage, unable to hold himself up anymore. He’s been injured more times in the past year that I have been my entire life but he always gets back up again. Because he needs to. Because he cares about EXO and EXO-L and can’t stand to let us down. In his mind, he can’t afford to disappoint us so he continually pushes himself past his limits. Now here he is with this little piece of happiness, this small taste of normalcy that he’s never been able to get before and what are you people doing? Making it about yourselves and how oh so hurt you are over this. Jongin has sacrificed enough of himself for us, I’m not taking this away from him too. He deserves to have something that makes him happy so God fucking yes I support his relationship. I support Jongin’s happiness.
