“It... sounds like a sucky punishment.” Byron added, an attempt to show some empathy to this woman. He wasn’t entirely privy to this whole “eternal soul collector” thing. His only knowledge about most of it is from cinema and media depictions. Naturally, the young man couldn’t help but wonder about how much of that was true. “I mean – there are many homeless and starving people that could find things to do with that paper – money. Cash.”
What an odd conversation that he has with this one. Honestly, this all felt wrong – like he shouldn’t even know about any of this. What if she just erases her memory like on one of those sci-fi movies? No, that would be too easy, wouldn’t it?
“Most people don’t use physical cash anymore. Most use credit. You don’t have a bank account? NOT that I am trying to get your banking information, but there is a lot that you can trade money for or – never mind!” Maybe she wouldn’t appreciate a lesson in finances from him?
“People that speak about death, grim reapers, souls, and all of that like you’ve done usually... end up in the psych ward. Not saying that you are insane, but – just giving an explanation as to why I said that you were before.” He added with a slight grimace and shake of his head. Byron just did not know how to make this less awkward – if that feat was even possible at all.
“I – didn’t burn the bear you left me because one – I’m not a pyromaniac – and two? The bear didn’t do anything wrong to me. It’s a little creepy, yeah. But, you gave it as an apology? So, that’s good?”

Admittedly, Byron’s mind can wander into that of fantasy, but it isn’t necessarily to escape from reality. He has a pretty decent and favorable reality in his main verse. However, it is possible that he would have such tendencies if he did not enjoy his life.
[ 💄 ] does your muse have an aesthetic? do they adhere strictly to it?
His aesthetic is sort of artsy, with some vibrant colors but with an even mixture of darkness. There is a fluidity to his style and aesthetic, but the basics of it remains the same. He isn’t entirely opposed to trying different things, albeit one at a time to see how he feels about them.
Some days he wears combat boots and other days, he wears designer sneakers. Sometimes he wears floral, sometimes he wears solid black. Just depends on how he wants to style that day.

( prev. answered ) Honestly, Byron is that sort of person that can probably make at least one friend anywhere that they go. I would not say he is completely extroverted, but he doesn’t mind being social. In short, he does have friends. But there is a small amount that he could consider to be close friends.
In his main verse, he will try to the best of his abilities to help someone who asks him to help them. Depending on what the task is, if it is a small and trivial task, someone may have to remind him or ask the progress of it. His mind tends to wander, sometimes!
[ 🎀 ] does your muse have any childhood friends or people that are important to them?
( prev. answered ) Lisa Clarke ( @diivinerose ) is very important to him. He has known her since practically forever. Her father was his father’s bestfriend a long time ago, even though Byron just cannot see how - seeing that Lisa’s dad is an asshole and his father is so much NOT an asshole. Despite that, her mother has always been sweet to him and his time with Lisa is always treasured.
In addition, Byron’s family is and will always be important to him. Whether that family is by blood or by choice, it doesn’t matter. If he cares about someone, he will care about them deeply. An example is his “Uncle Elijah” from an exclusive and shared verse with @creatorofclay.

( prev. answered ) Raised in the household that he was, Byron just can’t see how anyone would refuse to believe in love. He knows his parents do not look as if they are equally yoked, but they definitely are. Byron believe that true love exists, and that you can have more than one true love because the world is just too big to have only one of anything.
[ 🧸 ] does your muse have any guilty pleasures or hobbies that make them embarrassed?
Previously and briefly mentioned was how he can get caught up in watch cooking competitions on a food network. Often, he daydreams about how intense it could be racing against a clock and other people to make the “best dish”. He has tried some failed projects before - which only ended up with a cloud of flour in his eyes. Next time, he will invest in some goggles before experimenting with food creations again.

Never would Byron ever want to betray someone that he loves, but it always matters about the circumstances around the betrayal. One’s conscience can only take so much before morals kick in. And if that person that love is doing wrong, then he will have to eventually tell them his disagreement about it. Wrong and right exists for a reason, ...right?

Addressing the elephant in the room, Byron is spoiled in a way that some people are not fortunate enough to be. Pair that with the fact that he is young with a creative-based mind, his survival instincts are not keen. As mentioned before, he tries to stray from conflict, but if pushed enough - especially if it is life or death - he may aggressively snap. Other than that, he may fumble and be uncertain of other tragedies that require survival instincts.

( prev. answered ) In his main verse, Byron’s first impression on people generally is one that is relaxed, friendly, and/or humorous. He has been fortunate enough to be raised in a loving home and environment with loving parents. If someone is not kind to him on first meeting him, he may be dismissive towards them. He does not want conflict if it can be avoided.
[ 🐣 ] does your muse have anyone they look up to?
Byron actually does look up to his father, Corvus, quite a bit. He thinks the man always has something wise to say, when he does say something. Which is funny because we, as an audience, know how cruel Corvus can be in most of his verses. Even in Byron’s main verse, his father was once someone that was not of good mind or nature. Although, Corvus cannot be blamed completely. He was nurtured into that person from his childhood.

Byron has a creative mind, and he often feels more at ease when he is using his brain in a creative way. If he is feeling overloaded and overwhelmed, he often likes to dance or to sing or to just listen to music to release that stress from him.
But even when all of that is too much on his senses, a simple walk about the neighborhood or in town with a snack in his hands can suffice!

Because of the kind of person he has been molded into and because it is what he’s witnessed with his own parents, Byron is a very giving person in a relationship. Not only will his words speak of romance, but he will back them up with actions. Because actions speaks much more louder than simple words, in his perspective.
Nevertheless, he will be so inclined to hear what his significant other says, as what they say will always have his interest. He obviously dotes, and he sees no reason to hide if he is vibing with someone.

While Byron does not have any major addictions ( such as drugs, alcohol, etc ), he does have a habit on spending money on snacks/junk food most days of the week. You know he has a stash hidden away in his room somewhere.

Byron likes to record small fractions of his life. It has a lot to do with modern times, and how his phone is always with him. He has small clips of his family, friends, or just him doing random things. He doesn’t necessarily show all of them to people, but it is comforting in a way to know that he can return to them to relive something. Sometimes, he thinks of maybe compiling them and editing them into something more, one day.

If Byron is burdened by a day of boredom, he will binge-watch reality TV. Most of them are exaggerated, crass, and scripted but that’s what makes it fun, right?! It isn’t something he’d speak so openly about to people, though. Also, catch him watching cooking competitions on culinary networks.

Typically, he is the kind of person to take everything with a grain of salt. He knows that failing at something will suck, but it just gives him the opportunity to try again. If he has experience a failure of some sort, he has that sort of relationship with his parents that he can pretty much just ask for their advice ( on most things ). He’ll heed what they say, and try to integrate what they say if he can.

Coming into his bedroom definitely held a surprise for him. A surprise in the form of a characterized teddy bear. With a small wince, Byron grabbed onto the novelty-like item and lifted it to his eye level. A quick skim of the note it carried made him look around his room. How unsettling it was to know that an uninvited guest came here.
"Yeaaah. This is so less traumatizing. A great apology gift - If it were Halloween, and I was like, seven or something." He gave his complaint before setting the bear back down where it was settled on his desk. Byron could not help but stare at its beady, red eyes.
"On second thought -" His brief phrase was interrupted by him turning the teddy around so that it was now facing the wall and not him. "Ah. One-hundred percent better."
