Aigis hesitated to shoot. He was still human, right? She required a better reason to shoot him other than looking mysterious. Then again, she could still try and threaten him, but it was a failed attempt.

“In what… cognitive reasoning is a demon not perceived as ‘evil’?” She looked through her database, but there was honestly nothing that pertained demons as good-willed, other than… y’know, fallen angels. “Are you a demon? A human? A demo-man?”

“Depends on the demon. Some might be called gods by some people so I guess they perceive ‘em as good.” He shrugs.

“I’m the demifiend! I used to be human but things happened.... so now I’m pretty much a demon.”

“Would you happen to know where I am?”

“S’that so? You might wanna be more careful next time then, huh?” Assuming there was a next time.

He nods at the question, “Yup! This is the labyrinth of amala, home to a multitude of various demons. You’re lucky you ran into me instead of Beelzebub or someone similar.”

I mean… I know by now that you’re not a normie and that you’re affiliated with paranormal but that still surprised me.” What a great ice-breaker, Naoto. You half-admitted that you knew that Naoki was a demon (not that it wasn’t obvous by now, he was talking about fighting Gods). “Now I must ask when those incidents have happened or if they caused any breakdowns or outbreaks.”

She mentioned how their lives were completely different on that aspect: she couldn’t even think of picking a fight with gods since dumb and violent demons were tough enough to deal with.

“Well, yeah, I’m the demifiend, y’know? Er... maybe you didn’t know.” He shrugs.

“I’m basically Lucifer’s right hand man, I’m always beating up some holy entity or another... sometimes unholy entities too.”

“You look… evil.” Her fingers were pointed at him, ready to shoot.

“Evil?” He raises a brow. “I don’t really consider myself evil but I suppose a demon would be perceived that way, huh?” He chuckles lightly, seemingly relaxed despite the danger of possibly being shot.
