croc passed away last night/this morning. a lot has happened recently and we don't have the funds for an autopsy which is extremely frustrating... I'll be keeping an eye on the others to be sure they're all healthy... RIP croc. we didn't have you for long but I'll never forget you or your fighting spirit.
I ordered new lay boxes for the girls and they arrived early!! we are also upgrading Snapper to an adult tub! today is good aweee yeah

Yesterday Gator got loose and we haven't been able to find her. I'm really frustrated and the timing is terrible because I have a lot of homework to do, but I can't focus because I just want to find her...
We set up multiple hides around the house, after checking everything she could hide under manually and having no luck, including her favorite hide and a hot spot just outside the attic(which is where we think she is but if she's in there there's a good chance we might never find her).
I have no idea what to do. She was plump but not too big and I'm hoping that she'll be fine until we find her... Does anyone have any tips on how to get her to come out?
Ahhh. So Lady's season is over and she's stopped laying finally. We got a lot of eggs out of her but most of them didn't last long.
We started questioning why the eggs weren't making it and we're at three possibilities which are that Hibi is infertile, the eggs just are infertile, or that too much humidity was escaping the egg box because I put a pin hole in it. Our last two clutches we switched the lay box they were in and they seem to be doing well, two eggs are now a month old so there's hope. But to add to it Lady nipped Hibiscus once and now he's afraid of the girls and so when I put him with them he just kinda moves away and sits down.
I'm hoping that Hibiscus isn't infertile and gets over that fear. I don't want to have to find a new boy unless I'm expanding at this point ):
I got two new girls over break! Crock and Gator, both tremper albinos het for diablo blanco. Crock is a snow, Gator is not. They’re both super eaters and while they’re still skittish, Crock is starting to warm up and that’s really exciting.
I got them from GeckoBoa and it’s my first time having geckos shipped. The first two pictures are from the website, the second two were taken by me.
The last pic is of all of my breeders together. Lady, Gator, Crock, and then the boy Hibiscus.
Super pretty! I also love Gecko Boa, I have purchased three females from them and John is such a nice person and you get such high quality animals.
I agree! He was so nice and the animals were totally worth the money.
I completely forgot to mention that he actually agreed to throw one of the girls in at a slight discount so that we could stay within our budget since she was pushing it just a little bit, and he was super nice about me asking about that. I've met people who will just tear you a new one when asking for a deal on things but he was really chill and kind about it!

It's about time that I post these. These are the pics of my first leopard gecko egg!! It has some mold growing on it but not much and it hasn't affected the egg much it seems? Anyways the egg seems healthy! But we're not sure if its fertile or not yet.
It's about time for an update. I meant to earlier, but finals are coming up and I've been a little swamped.
We made our incubator, I'll post pictures of it and explain building it. Lady went off of food for a long time and lost a lot of weight. She laid an egg. She's back on food and gaining again.
Anyways YES EGG!! She laid an egg a week ago on the 25th of last month! It's in the incubator which is working WONDERFULLY and keeping a constant high 80 degrees(I think like 80.6). It's two degrees under what I have it set to, but I prepared for that so I'm not worried. The egg seems infertile though, it's still yellow inside and it was dented a little bit. I'm confused however because it did un-dent after a little while. I figured it was because it sat in the lay box for so long(I wasn't expecting eggs really at that point). It's now plump and kinda jelly bean shaped but very firm so I think healthy.
The egg also has some mold on it, but it's just a small bit. We'll continue incubating it I guess until we know for sure that it won't make it.
Last night my mom and I finally decided on what to do about incubating. We're picking up a wine cooler tomorrow to change into an incubator and ordered the thermostat and thermometer/hydrometer! Finally progress after 3 weeks of research!
While we're building it I might take pictures and post them here. Anyone interested in seeing? I can do it in a sort of tutorial thing I guess?
Lady Luck and Hibiscus may have bred on Sunday(wasn't confirmed), and they did breed on Thursday. Hopefully it worked and she's pregnant. I'm going to check her in a little bit to see if there's any development.
This is Hibiscus now, he's so big. He grows much faster in size than weight. It freaked me out for a little while but he's definitely still gaining weight. He's still relatively skittish and hard to handle because his claws really scrape me up.
This is Lady now. (: She's much plumper. She was overweight, but she's kind of caught up in size recently due to her ovulation(not eating as much but still growing). She's so chill. She's the most handle-able of my geckos.
My other new Leo, Lady Luck.♥♥
I got this baby with Hibi at the 2013 August Portland Reptile Expo. Her name is Lady Luck(Lady). When I got her she was 5 inches long at 3-4 months old.
She's a Jungle Raptor and is 9 inches long already and 60+ grams. I think she might be a giant that the breeder mistook as a normal, or maybe she's just a very big gecko? These questions will hopefully be answered when she and Hibi breed.

I posted these forever ago on my main blog. This is my first and only male breeder atm, Hibiscus(Hibi). This was 5 months ago, when I got him he was like 3 months, almost 4. He was like 6 or 7 inches long.
He's a Giant Tremper Albino ph Raptor. He's now 8 months I believe and is over 10 inches long!
