I laugh at the idea of Dorn stealing Maximus, only reveal his own, secret son a few months later. No that's not Maximus with a bad dye job, that's his son Maximillian. Totally not the same person.

Maximillian is where he gets to have his hair grown out and long again, to help drive home he’s not Perturabo’s son; Perturabo’s son has short hair, Dorn’s son has long hair.

Life Updates, changes in schedule

Hello everyone, I am coming out of my warp rift once again to bring an update about how things are going.

In regards to painting this year: I haven’t done a whole lot, I have maybe done about 6 miniatures since the last time I said I would. Personal life and work caught me in a loop, and that’s not even regarding my other hobbies. I didn’t really think about what was going on until the end of this month and realized it.

About two months ago my buddy and I tried to start the painting competition anew, and we’re still gonna do it, but we ran into some personal problems and our goal of having the Start Collecting! boxes for our two armies (Orks for me and Dark Elder for him) didn’t get finished. This month our goal is to paint a troops choice and we earn extra points for every unit we paint beyond that month’s goal in that time. Hopefully we’re able to but if anything it might not be a lot this year.

I would like to apologize for the lack of content this year, I seem to have drifted away from painting but I really want to get back into it (honestly, I have my own office space filled with unopened boxes, I might just show you all what I mean). ANYWAY, I plan on getting pictures of the 6 or so models I have painted so far this year, on top of this month’s goal. gonna be shooting for a unit of 20 Ork boyz led by a Nob, so that will give me a dent in what I currently have to paint on my desk. Painting Update (Month One)

Hey everyone!

So I have news about the competition my friend and I are doing. When February came to a close, I realized I had yet to finish painting a lone Deff Dread. Calling my friend I found out he had yet to even open the box and assemble his miniatures. Between his hectic life and my work schedule; we found out it wasn’t a good month for us to start, but it did allow us time to figure out a more solid way to figure out who will win. 

We’re planning on starting over and this month is the start of it and ends on the last day of July. Whoever paints more in terms of point value up to 2500 points will win; with a game to determine tiebreaker if we both miraculously paint two full armies within the time given how well February went. I will still follow update schedule I had planned from before and hope there won’t be another screw up like before!

Upcoming projects for 2017

Hello Everyone; Just wanted to let you know I’m still around. Work and social interactions take up a lot of time nowadays so painting is hard to work on with everything else. On the bright side I can give you guys a heads up on two things I’m gonna be working on this year.

1) PAINTING COMPETITION WITH MY FRIEND

Last year for my friend’s birthday I got him the start collecting army box for Dark Eldar since he’s been looking into them and had the codex already. I myself already had the Ork one but have yet to open it. To help motivate both of us to collect and paint new armies (more about the painting for me) we decided that at the start of February we are going to paint roughly 500 points worth for our armies every month, beginning with the start collecting boxes. I’m planning on posting updates at the end of every month to show the army is expanding, while still posting whenever I finish models for it. This will keep me busy and hopefully more productive for the first half of the year instead of every couple of months update and then fade into non-existence.

2) FULLY PAINT A WARMACHINE 75 POINT LIST

I feel like a bit of an explanation is needed for this one. Last year I was really getting things for Warmachine and playing in tournaments, but not really painting models for it. Recently I attended a tournament that I couldn’t bring one army to because it wasn’t fully showing what models where what since I keep mine in stages of assembly for painting. Feeling bummed out about that I decided to pick one of my two lists that I regularly take and paint it all by the end of the year. Unlike the first project I’m going to start next month, I don’t have a set schedule for this one so I may start working on it after June when I should be done with the other goal or I may work on them throughout the year that way I have variety in what I’m working on and not get discouraged from painting the same things over and over again. Some of the models for the list are already painted but I still have about 75% of them needed to be painted: these will also be posted when I finish them. 

Hope you guys are looking forward to this like I am to clear some space on my work station and post more on here so I hope to keep you all consistently updated as I work on these two big projects for 2017!

Why isn’t the government stepping in to stop this? They could be prosecuted under the Brandenburg test because their demonstrations are directed at inciting lawless actions. The 1st Amendment DOES NOT protect violence. For those of you in Montana, write or call state officials about this; The Daily Stormer cannot legally riot or do what they intend because it would be considered criminal activity. The ACLU and Anti-Defamtion League would be able to present compelling cases as well.

Happy New Year! To celebrate the end of 2016 and another year of me doing this: I decided to do a post about ALL my Ork miniatures I’ve painted. What’s to come is already planned out in a way: my desk is loaded with so many Ork models I’m probably not gonna need to buy any until 2018! But I’m gonna see if I can put a dent into it. It is necessary to understand that the police army at Standing Rock wants to start killing the water protectors. You don’t deliberately inflict hypothermia on people, especially older people, unless you are cognizant of the fact that this can be lethal. Their use of water cannons in this context is lethal force. I imagine they’re delighted at the opportunity; they’ve only held off on live ammunition this long because massacres are bad PR. 

(Oh, and a quick sidenote: “rubber” bullets are not made of rubber. They are metal pellets with a thin rubber coating. You can absolutely kill or severely injure someone with a rubber bullet.)

Water protector Sophia Willansky was critically injured last night – she’s in surgery facing amputation of an arm – after being hit by what is called a “stun grenade” while distributing water bottles to her fellow protectors. “Stun Grenade” is an interesting euphemism for a concussive weapon that is not significantly less destructive to living things than a regular grenade. If you would like to see what a “stun grenade” does to a person’s body, you can google Sophia Willansky, but the images are graphic and I’m not sure she has consented to their release. Rest assured that it’s fucking horrific. This isn’t, like, “set phasers to stun”; this is “use words that sound nicer for stuff that kills people” and it’s scary and garbage.

Continuing with Protectorate models, I finished one of my old Revengers. The other one I'm contemplating since it never had the spear tip when I got it so I may or may not paint that one as well.

To begin my return to updating; I’ll be showing off the Protectorate of Menoth models I painted while I was away. To start, we have Grand Scrutator Severius and three additional Wracks, bringing the total to 6 while I finished painting my third Warcaster.

Unexpected Hiatus: new job, new plans and plenty of new models!

Hello Everyone! I did not realize that's it has nearly been a YEAR since I last posted anything, and for that I apologize. I got caught up in a second job, and just quit from working at Jimmy John's as of last month, so that's taken up most of my time after working 6 days a week for nearly a year. On top of that; I've managed to get my hands on plenty of more Orks and some Chaos Space Marines from a friend. Among the pile was a beat up land raider that will end up as a Looted Wagon most likely. Among the plans I have for the 3 active armies I'm painting (Orks, Chaos Space Marines now and Protectorate of Menoth from Warmachine), I decided to mainly focus on Orks due to the sheer amount of Boyz to paint, along with how many boxes of Ork models I have laying around. The biggest plan I have with me posting is asking you all how often I should post? If it's either every week with WIP or on my old schedule of when I finished painting models. Granted; I have finished painting models since last year so I can update fairly frequently while I paint more. If you could please message and leave your opinion I can get better at providing you the content you started following me for. I finally went and got myself the Covenant of Menoth; a model I enjoyed painting and the rules for it. One of my favorites has to be negating my opponents from casting spells while they're ten inches from the Covenant; or make it so one of my units gains flaming weapons. Overall another good model to have in my collection.

Have myself both a Hierophant and Nicia, Tear of Vengeance now for my collection. Only played with the Hierophant out of the two so far, but I'm probably going to enjoy using Nicia in later games.

Since I have Kreoss; it only makes sense I get the Exemplar Seneschals too. I didn't like the long back banners, so I decided to clip then off and just have the banner posts themselves as it helps them stand out.

Here's my Grand Exemplar Kreoss, making me have both his Prime and Epic versions painted. Unfortunately I'm not going to be getting the third version of him, since I don't really like the model or it's rules.

For those who are familiar when almost everything was metal for Warmachine: the details weren't as extensive. Luckily it also meant I was able to finish this old Repenter model, making me have one painted in plastic and metal now.

First heavy warjack I finished in my army's color scheme; and pleased with how it came out. Only tedious part was painting the Menoth symbol on the shoulders, as I kept getting white on it, then black on the shoulder. Only have 4 other heavies in my collection left to paint.

Here I am with another group of miniatures I finished for Warmachine. Starting it off is a Reclaimer solo and a full group of Wracks. The censers for the wracks not only wouldn't glue on but other players kept having problems with them so I just left them off.
