RYAN REYNOLDS as Harry Goodman in DETECTIVE PIKACHU (2019) dir. Rob Letterman
After traveling the country in a van filled with other people, there would be times where things would feel a little cramped despite how accustomed the guys thought they have become. So, when they learned about New Haven and decided to make it their last stop in this long journey, they all decided to choose different housings so they can finally have space for themselves after so long. At first, Matthew was fine by this, he might have even enjoyed having the option to spread his legs and not worry about bumping into someone else. But after some time, all the space he had felt like too much for him. As if something was missing (aside from the necessary furniture that he still needed to fill the space with). The witch missed having the company of others near him and decided to do something about. During his lunch break from work, Matthew grabbed a small stack of fliers looking to hire with 'also for roommates' scribbled at the bottom on each one before traveling around town and placing them wherever he could. He was finally at the end of his stack when he decided to enter a small eatery where he noticed a bulletin board. Making a beeline, he made his way over and tacked the page on the cork, taking a step back to give a triumphant look only to accidentally bump into someone else. "Oh sh-- My bad, I didn't know I was disturbing the line."
If he were a restauranteur - which didn't sound like such a bad idea when given thought - luxury and opulence would be key, however, he'd have to give it a name like The Laundromat, or Lou's Convenience Shop. Creed couldn't bring himself to half-ass anything, but also couldn't bare to lean seriously into something so pretentious. But the town had enough quality eateries without him planting some gaudy abomination no one could afford. Plus, when given a second thought, it seemed like such a drag to even plan.
He was being good, minding his business, and enjoying a sandwich until the nudge against his elbow caused half of the over-stuffed club to fall to the floor. "Oh, no," he said softly as he stared down at the mess by his shoe. He cradled the sandwich against his bosom and frowned. "Gone too soon, but not soon forgotten." Creed glanced toward the person who caused such a heavy loss, then quickly looked past him. "No worries, friend - I have this under control." The male reached over and happened to pluck the flyer that was just posted on the bulletin board. He knelt and started to pick up the food with the paper. "Got it. Mostly." He walked over and dropped the refuse in the trash. A few napkins were collected from the lady behind the counter, and he finished cleaning the mess. "No use crying over spilled veggies and condiments, am I right?" Creed wore a cream turtleneck under a pink and blue flannel jacket. His pants were corduroy that matched the turtleneck in color. His leather shoes were a baby blue similar to the flannel.
