To be honest, I think we should appreciate all the representations of vampires, both fictional and folkloric, villians and protagonists, live-action and animated, classic and offbeat, beautiful and decrepit, with different powers and weaknesses. There are no wrong vampires to me, as long as they have fangs and are able to drink blood.

There is no blanket meaning for life. Everything is chance. Happenstance. Random. Just like everything else in the universe. We're so meaningless in the vast, endless scheme of things that we have the power in that nothingness to assign our own, more individual meanings to our short human lives. Your life is your own. You belong to no one but yourself and you, we, are just...here. We're valuable to each other, just as we are, and that's enough.
