Hi, he is mentioned in the 1940 census at 13 years old. I have also found his enlistment record. Enlisted on the 26th of May 1945 at age 18, for the duration of the war plus six months minimum. Trained at Camp Blanding near Starke, Florida. Listed as single and his occupation was a Skilled Welder. Also found his death certificate but it is very vague.
