Serious question, from a newbie at releasing music. After how huge Brat, how do you even attempt to follow that up? Not that I'm anywhere near being in that situation, and likely won't ever be, but I'm so curious of the thought process for going into the studio after something like Brat. @charlibabi

honestly? you learn to not care about that stuff. for me personally, i love brat - obviously... do i think it's my best work? maybe not. i find it funny, because it's all just kind of about momentum and what picks up, i nearly scrapped apple off the album and it was one of the biggest songs on there. so i've just learnt to not really give a fuck and just make the music i wanna make - which is honestly? the best advice i can give.
