Back to thinking about nasty, feral dog Vortex who’s forced to wear a basket muzzle 24/7, begs to hump Aid’s leg frequently (or does so anyway, when he’s hankering for the subsequent punishment), pushes Aid’s buttons and verbally degrades himself in hopes of getting a rise out of his owner, etc etc…

And Aid, who puts up with none of it, holds the studded leash in an iron grip with just enough tension put on the prong collar digging into Vortex’s neck to teeter on the edge of dangerous when Vortex disobeys, readily kicks a pede out and demands Vortex hop on and put himself to work if he’s that intent on acting a fool (but not without warning Vortex that he’s going to have to provide, too; only good dogs get rewarded and all that), all while enjoying it every bit as much as his dirty, mangy mutt enjoys trying his patience and fishing for the consequences.
