howdy, i'm charlie and i mostly draw the twins from mother 3 (as well as other fandoms on occasion). my art tends to take a focus on the exploration of mental health and healing, but i draw a lot of silly lighthearted stuff, too

head's up, this blog is a spoiler landmine because i draw claus often and he's a walking spoiler. posts directly acknowledging spoilers i try to mark with the tags "mother 3 spoilers," but only my own artwork/posts

due to the nature of the game in question, i may occasionally post art with mild amounts of blood/gore or art related to and/or discuss its more serious subject matters such as (spoilers):

grief, abuse, child death, and suicide.

i use tags for the latter two, and also any art with blood. mental illness and trauma in general is also a topic that often comes up often in my artwork, but despite this as previously mentioned, i try to keep a balance between the more dark themes and more lighthearted artwork.

when it comes to ships, i talk about or draw fuelcas (lucas x fuel) sometimes. if you don't like that ship or don't like shipping content in general, you can mute the tag "fuelcas". i don't make a lot of content with it, though. i'm not a huge shipper for the most part lol

I wanna try to start drawing again. I think I was having some negative feelings about my art for a bit that was making it difficult to motivate myself. But Art Fight helped me a lot getting back into the swing.

I decided to redesign my twins a little bit, as well

sorry for my first post in three months being super sad lol

kinda worried about posting this rip i'm worried about the message of it being misinterpreted given the way i've always chosen to interpret mother 3's ending in my fanworks. this isn't pro-"doing that" art it's "it's really heartbreaking that this happened and he thinks this about it" art. mayhaps a silver lining in the idea that he at least is no longer suffering. but that this turn of events is devastating nonetheless

i don't really wanna tell people how to feel about and how to interpret my art as a whole but wanted to clear that specifically

me when i'm in a FAILED BY EVERY ADULT competition and my opponent is this kid:

i always get excited not for valentine's day itself but only because i want to buy myself a box of chocolates LOL. so claus is me fr in this instance

i haven't been drawing as many pieces like this with the both of them lately but i do wanna keep doing them. i feel like it shows a lot of character/headcanon but in more lighthearted contexts

I'm really not the sorta person to make callout posts. Considering the stuff that's gone on with this guy, though, I feel obligated to spread awareness in whatever way I can. Bimble / bimbleygimbly / bimblescribbles has been credibly accused of sexual harassment & sexual assault, and has more or less admitted guilt. He's caused some other issues in Discord servers - such as condoning the sharing of nsfw content around minors, harassing minors, and repeating the same behaviors even after being confronted. (There's more details [here] and [here], if anyone needs them. CW for discussion of SA.)

Recently, Bimble has been joining Mother servers on Discord, and contacting folks in the fandom - despite agreeing to stay away. If this were all just pretty private drama, I don't think it'd be my place to speak up. But given what I know about him, and how many folks are following me, I think a warning here is warranted. For what my opinion is worth: I don't believe it's safe for this person to participate in the Mother fandom - especially considering how many minors & survivors there are in this community. I think we should do all we can to keep our spaces safe from people like this.

Do not contact or harass Bimble. If he tries to contact you, I highly suggest you block him. If he joins one of your servers or communities, I implore you to warn the moderators, and provide them with the above links. You can even reach out to me if you need to; I can redirect to folks who've got access to more detailed info.

Two sides of grief

redraw of something from 2024, because I didn't really love the composition of that one (and now I'm kind of conflicted on this one too, but now it's the values 😭)

Anyway. The idea behind the piece has changed slightly, leaning a little more into the grief element rather than generic "they're sad now :(." Lucas's face looks a little more relaxed because of how he's more willing to let himself cry, whilst Claus is trying not to.
