“Dada…” You were shaking him awake, still in your jammies. Choso slowly stirred, opening his eyes.
“Hm…? What is it, my little bat?” He groggily asks, sitting up. He pulls you into his lap.
“I wan hair like you!” You say.
“Hair like me? You mean my pigtails?” He smiles softly.
“Yeah! Dat! I wan dat! I wan it!” You smile.
“Alright, honey. Let’s have breakfast and brush our teeth first, yeah?” Choso says, picking you up and taking you into the kitchen.
He sets you down on the counter, and rests his hands on his hips.
“What would my baby bat like for breakfast, hm?” He looks at you.
“I wan… I wan… cereal!” You giggle.
“Cereal? Perfect, you’re making it easy. Cereal coming right up,” He says, moving to the fridge. He grabs the milk, then sets it to the counter next to you.
He then closes the fridge door, and walks over to the pantry, where he grabs your favorite - Cheerios. He reaches into another cabinet and grabs a bat-themed bowl.
He fixes the cereal, and sets it on the table. He grabs you and sits you down.
“Breakfast is served, my love.”
After breakfast, he took you into the bathroom, where he brushed your teeth.
“Hair time! Dada, it hair time!” You look at him, excited to get your hair done just like your dada.
“Yes, it’s hair time.” He grabs two hair ties and puts them on his wrist. Then, he parts your hair perfectly into two. He gently smooths it, before taking one hair tie and wrapping it around one section, perfectly replicating his look.
“I dada! I dada!” You clap.
“Almost done, stay still for me, please.” He begins to work on the other section, making two perfect pigtails. He then adds an extra hairclip (that has a bat on it, of course).
You look in the mirror, admiring your new hair.
“Thank you dada, I wove it!” You turn around and hug him.
“Of course, my bat.” He kisses the top of your head. What a nice morning.
