Don’t look down!
Giant mechanical men lumber through a winter forest while War machines watch over farmland. Jakub Rozalski’s artwork is a study in contrasts: the past blended with the future. His images of an alternative, steampunk Europe are amazing works of art.
It was great seeing Jackson Pollock at the MoMA this week. It was an interesting exhibition looking at how his style evolved towards his infamous drip painting technique.
Loving this in the background while I draw!
One of my newest charcoals I finished the end of last year. The detail in the lips and the creases in the hands were very time consuming but I’m very happy with the results!
One of my Charcoals from a few years ago of a tribesman. I loved working on the texture of the fur.
When photographer Sandro Miller decided to do a project to honor the photographers who had inspired him and shaped his career, he called on his longtime friend and frequent collaborator John Malkovich to help him. The result is Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to Photographic Masters, a brilliant series of 35 recreations of iconic portraits, all starring the actor as the subject.
This guy is super talented! Check him out.
I loved this short. An amazingly interesting and creative installation to Bombay Sapphires imagination series (2012). Check it out.
Near completion. My sister holding my charcoal of Jimi Hendrix. Starting my next one soon. #charlie timms
