This video actually did a lot for my heart. Like I'm sure a lot of people felt, I was not excited to hear about GW3. It scared me; I felt like it was an eviction notice from my home.
But as hesitant as I am to say a company cares, this video reminded me that the Arenanet team is filled with people who have very much cared for us and want to continue to do so. I still don't know how I feel about GW3 or if I'll ever play it, but I don't see it as a threat anymore. If they can have the current -- not historical, current as in currently working on it!-- GW1 director talk about working on this now 20+ year old game, I can have hope for GW2 ❤️

Okay, so. Baruhn and his metal band Bloodstone Tempest are invited to record a few tracks with a K-POP (Kaineng-pop) band. There's of course some black metal, but also a few nightcore tracks, and one ballad about forbidden love.
Fans all over Cantha now make saucy fanart of the two lead singers, thanks to an accidentally suggestive performance on stage.
I don't think either of them really minds it though.
Calling all GW2 artists!
My 6yo loves asura (or "goblins" as they are known in my house. It's not GW2, it's The Goblin Game). We also just got a printer and she is going to plaster our house in coloring sheets. This morning, she made a special request for asura coloring sheets, of which I have absolutely none.
If you have kid-friendly line art of asuras that we could use for coloring sheets, could you reblog or link to it? Especially if you have any drawings of Zojja, her favorite goblin. They do not have to be hi-res but do need to be on a white background! We'll be sure to post her results for you if you'd like!

Either, it starts as just another aetherblade/Mai Trin fractal but part way through you get interrupted by Mai Trin, Ankka, Renyak, and Ivan and have to fight them off instead as they try to steal the parts they need for their airships.
or you Play as Mai, Ankka, Renyak, Ivan, and another random aetherblade and break into a fractal to kill your fractals selves and steal the parts needed for your airship repairs.
Just - give me a fractal within a fractal situation because knowing the EoD era aetherblades killed their doubles in fractals for years to try repair their ships is super cool and I think it'd be a rad thing to turn into a fractal itself.
Hell don't even change the name of the slot, just keep it aetherblade or mai trin and it's a surprise that it's a different encounter.
GW2 is a game with a really awesome community, honestly. There's just one...stupid thing I keep seeing though which makes me want to bite the randoms in map chat.
I'm gunna rant because some people's 'game ettiquette' (?) sucks :D
If you're doing a meta or event that event so much as looks like it might fail, some asshole is gunna announce to everyone some form of "GG fail".
It only comes to mind because I was just doing a Dragon's End that failed on 1% where someone decided to tell the whole map of 50+ people (with 4-5mins remaining) that they might as well leave because it was over already. And as soon as they do that people leave squad, ditch the map etc.
It's gotta be pretty much sabotage to tell that many people that 'it's over' before anyone could actually tell if it is or not. It's definitely shitty game manners for sure.
And I know it can make a whole ass difference when the map and Comm are really supportive and motivate well because of the tiny ass squad I did Drekkar with the other day.
Which started off with one asshat saying it was going to fail and the Comm telling them that they could leave if they wanted but to do it now so someone else could take their loot. And then we won.
Either way, if you think an event is gunna maybe fail, shut your mouth and leave quietly. Forfeit your loot so we can finish it in style without your negative ass.
