Lloyd sketch🙂 I need to draw Lloyd more! I haven't thought of a solid design for him yet so I'm just playing around with his features. I would love some recommendations tho! :-)

Some Lloyd doodles for the Pokémon AU!

Cleaned up some extra stuff I did after finishing the sketch for Master (or ig in this case Professor?) Lloyd. Felt fitting to share this after the trailer for S4! Next post will actually be comics and/or Wyldfyre like I promised before!

As I've said pleaseeeeeeee share your own ideas for pkmn teams with me!!! I love seeing them! Or even just Ninjago/PKMN thoughts in general!

I feel like Lloyd would have an Axew because, idk vibes, they are both green and dragon :D

Oh my gosh thank you!!! I've had SO much fun studying different Pokémon artists while making Sora and Arin, I'm super happy to know you like them :DD

Also woaaa Axew is such a good pick!! He's such an underrated pokemon.. plus I DO need a dragon type for Lloyd... Honestly Lloyd is probably the most fun one to think of a team for, it feels like there's soooo many cool options for him! For example I also need to give him Ogerpon! They can all be green together >:]

Rookie Trainer Sora

Another character for my Ninjago x Pokémon AU! Now that I have her and Arin, I'm excited to actually build out their little journey :D She might have had some doubts at first but she's more than ready to become a great trainer now!

Quick explanation for her team:

Sylveon - they match! Also I thought it'd be cute to give her a pokémon that evolves by friendship, since it's the thing she treasures most. Also also Trans mon; Dragonair - as a stand-in for Zanth; Rotom - matching tech powers! Pluss I think their dynamic would be really fun, given Rotom's mischief; Espurr - I could try to make a point about hidden power...but tbh they just have the same vibes to me like it just feels right.

I said this on my last post featuring Arin already but if you have any ideas share them with me!!! I love imagining what silly little guys these characters would have!

I'll probably try to make a small comic or two next, because I reallyyyy wanna explain my idea for the gym challenge (spoiler alert there's not 8 of them nor are they from the same region) before drawing the "gym leaders" but idk,,, either way Lloyd, Wyldfyre and Frak soon!!

Rookie Trainer Arin

After rewatching Ninjago and seeing all the celebrations for Pokémon's 30th anniversary I really wanted to make a Pókemon AU with all the characters in Dragons Rising! So here's the first trainer and his team :D I've been picturing Arin and Sora as the playable characters!

Quick explanation for the picks: Froakie - definitely the nr1 starter pick for a big ninja fan; Bagon - IMO there couldn't be a better pokédex entry to mirror Arin's determination; Morpeko - they're literally the same to me look at them,,, the "angry mode" felt very fitting due to Arin's journey in S3; Maushold (Family of 3) - I absolutely needed something to represent Arin's family since they play such an important role in his story, pls imagine I gave one of them a detective hat!

I have so many ideas for this AU I hope I can get them all out... there's legit a board filled with teams on top of teams already,, but if you see this and have ideas for someone PLS I'M BEGGING SHARE THEM WITH ME!!!
