loving life with my babies

this is just a daily blog for me to get out whatever im thinking/feeling. im 26 from Long Island but living in SC now. Married the love of my life on 1/11/14 and couldn't be any happier. Mom to my beautiful baby girl, Charlotte Reagan, born 1/6/15, and my baby boy Graham William on 4/4/18. Fur mom to one toy Australian Shepard and one lab mix.

I’m so tired of seeing people complain that their plans are ruined and asking when things will open up again. What’s happening in this world is bigger than you. You know how much I would love for my husband to be able to work from home but guess what nuclear reactors don’t just run themselves. I do wish the base was putting more restrictions out though but you know gotta bring that bottom line up 🙄. The last thing they should be worried about is training right now because if everyone gets sick it will just take even longer to get things done. While I am appreciative that my husband has a job where he continues to get paid its frustrating that they are still operating as if things are normal.

When you try to look at some of those discount glasses sites because glasses are expensive but your eyes are so bad they won’t even make them for you

Also when the first thing your eye dr says to you is you should get lasik because your eyes are so bad

How do people without children complain about being tired so much. Like what the hell do you do with your time that you don’t get enough sleep. You don’t even know what tired is.

My god in one year this kid has brought more stomach viruses into this house than his sister did in 4 years. Please just go to sleep and don’t throw up on me again. Also please don’t throw up in the car when we bring Charlotte to school. Why couldn’t he get sick during the day and not at 2am 🤮

Lol the navy is sending people up to VA to work back at the boat to “boost morale” because all the guys up there think these guys in SC are doing nothing. 🙃 in a weird turn of events it somehow is easier being alone with 2 kids instead of just 1. Maybe I just have no time to think about anything other than keeping two small humans alive.

Thank you so much for moving all these people down here to only go realize that there’s now not enough people back in Virginia because they hate their job and are either tapping out or not re-enlisting. I really can’t wait to be taking care of a baby that won’t sleep plus a preschooler and two dogs. We were supposed to be over him having to go away for long periods of time. Ugggghhhhhhhhh. And my father in law wonders why my husband doesn’t want to re-enlist.

Also universe it would be great if I could sleep and not have a baby that wakes up 5 times a night.

Lord help me because I am going to lose my mind. I though Charlotte was a bad sleeper but she had nothing on this kid. He’s going to push me to cry it out because I literally just can’t live like this. He’s up 5 times a night and is a bitch to lay down practically every time. He won’t take a bottle but he also won’t stop biting me every time he nurses. I swear if this kid would take a bottle he would be on formula and i will definitely not be having anymore kids.

Love that I’ve been trying to get the baby to go to bed for the past two hours with no help from my husband who doesn’t even need to put out other child to bed since my parents are in town 🙄

Welp we have to evacuate and we aren’t playing games by staying since we have a 5 month old and 3 year old. Never thought I would go to FL to avoid a hurricane but now we get to see family and they get to meet graham and then we go to Disney this weekend still. I was definitely not going to miss out on our grand Floridian/Polynesian weekend plus the cheap military Halloween party. Now if we could just get some answers from the navy about when we can actually go. And to ease my mind we already have new boarding set up for the dogs near Disney so it’s one less thing to worry about.

It’s times like these I’m greatful I grew up somewhere that dealt with both hurricanes and blizzards so I know how to prepare for them.

Well we have an evacuation plan and our bags are basically packed. Now if this hurricane could just decide to not come this way that would be great. At least we are evacuating to family down in FL so we will still be able to go to Disney we just have to added factor of having our dogs with us. Please go away Florence 👋🏻
