Life, it is a road, many paths to choose from, we make our way step by step, day by day, we challenge , we fight, we love, we hurt, with endless pain. Pain of loss, love, happiness! It was really good seeing an old friend (2nd bf) from high school when I was here in waukegan years ago. How life has changed! Knowing he will see this. Hope u know Im greatful ur around! So...... Self reflection is what we should all do. Stop and ask as we were taught as kids!! WWWWWH!!!! Only you choose the winding path to your own happiness. The daily nightmare that I fight everyday with.. When my head is low, I'll kick a stone in the sand . I walk and see where the stone had landed not lifting my head. I find it in a set of footprints. Here I stop dead in my own tracks . Take a breath, slowly lift my head and see the sun setting and no one else around.....the path of footprints I follow thinking the happiest moments and remembering I'm never alone!!
