just a thought but sometimes the true selves debate is really funny when you take a step back and look at it outside of the fandom-perspective. like, acting different in different situations is something we all do. am i my true self on tumblr? am i my true self talking to my friends? talking to my parents? the answer is no. i am only my true self when i am playing pokemon

yo it’s wild to me (and also extremely gratifying!) that my “charming but unsure” Adrien meta is still circulating and resonating with people even nearly 5 years after I wrote it- a sign that it still holds up, which is awesome!

And honestly that is one thing I really appreciate about tumblr tbh! things you created ages ago can still live on instead of getting lost in the algorithm. Pretty cool stuff.
