It was supposed to be just a sketch/study, but it turned into a sketch of a statue. And I liked it! 😊

After spending almost 2024 without posting anything here, I want to get back to my personal art and projects to update my portfolio. And with that, I'm working on my new personal project. A reimagining of the movie The Last Unicorn.

Soon you'll see in this project the exploration of a new version of the character design, concepts, environments and much more that I'm currently working on. It will be a relatively large project, so I'll gradually post them here. But I can't wait to share it with you guys. I'm very excited about it! ❤️

Back in 2022, I worked on the second book in Harry Koumrouyan's trilogy, published by Auzou in 2023.

I had a lot of fun creating the cover and interior illustrations for this book. But the most fun part was creating the characters' fashions <3

Have you guys watched The Last Unicorn? Maybe the new generation hasn't seen it, bc it's from 1982... I haven't seen it either (I'm from 95), but I'm very curious to watch this film. Lady Amalthea has always caught my attention. So, thinking about that, I decided to make this fanart.

Blue Eye Samurai was one of the animated series I most enjoyed watching at the beginning of this year. If you haven't seen it yet, give it a chance. The story is captivating and inspiring, and the animation is well crafted and detailed. A masterpiece!

From time to time I draw my OC Serena so I don't forget her in the back of my mind. I would like to develop more about her story, but I get lost in a sea of ideas. So I like to draw her casually.

Do you guys also have OCs? Was it easy for you to develop a background for them?

I was very proud of this painting, and Lana Del Rey's song Young and Beautiful inspired me to create this piece. It was a little challenging to find the right colors that I wanted for this painting, but I did it!
