Can you offer any advice for adding music players to templates? I've seen that in most cases people use the Billy/Sheep one (can't recall the exact name) but uploading music to Dropbox and linking it to the player itself that way never works for me. Are there any other good methods that do work with it, or any other good music players in general that you might know of?

Hello! Sorry for being so late with this reply ( I hope you get to see this! ). If I can suggest one thing for Dropbox - for some reason, I believe they’ve changed the default share link. So whenever you upload it into a music player - it won’t play. I researched the cause a long time ago and found that you have to insert https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ before the link you copy.

So far it’s worked with other music players. However, if you want to try out a different one from Billy Sheepproductions - I like to use MP3 Player! They’ve got a few varieties. I’ve also seen SCM Player used often!

Will you ever give tutorials or post them on how to make chatango themes?? I'd like to learn but it looks really hard to do.

Sure!! It’ll be quite a process but I’ll make a tutorial here pretty soon! I’m also going to be creating base codes so you can use it as a base to create your own ( however , you don’t have to credit me when I release it! ) I’m going to be busy this weekend but I’ll see if I can make something when I’m free.

Hey there!! I’ve finished them for a quite awhile actually! I wasn’t sure if people were still using CSS based themes due to Chatango’s frequent glitch of others not showing on the meet people’s when they have any CSS on their profile unfortunately - so I’ve just put it out there for display. But!! If people are still interested in them, I’d be more than happy to release the codes!

What got you into making themes?

Hey!! Thanks for the question! ( wasn’t expecting it really ! )

I used to see a lot of people with cool themes in their full profile - almost 8+ years ago when I first used the website - especially with those with ‘ original ‘ accounts. So that was when Wix , Weebly , and other sites related wasn’t founded or used back then. I started out with basic div codes and - oh lord. I was such a noob. I used to make my own background images to fill for container boxes and input text within them by using position divs.

Later on I figured about CSS - being on Tumblr pretty much broadened that experience for me since I saw how it worked on customized profiles - so I started to implement that into my coding now and I’ve learned more and more about it and continue to do so. Making themes can be pretty stress relieving and it’s cool to see how they turn out. It’s definitely an arduous process but it’s worth it in the end. I started out with nothing and learned to make something. I’m self taught so naturally I’m still learning. 

So to answer your question in simple words - I was inspired by seeing how cool people made their themes back then and it made me want to learn to make my own!

That black box theme was perfect tbh. I love it, yet I still have to add info for my dearest oc. Thanks very much I really do love it. It's so simple.

I don't suppose you can make a simple theme. A centered box. Black background. White small font. Minimal and straight to the point so I can add oc information. with a small scroll box.

Hey there! From my understanding, this is what I believe you’re asking for? If not, feel free to let me know. Because I can always add in tabs so you can separate additional info or do any other alteration. ( Also not sure if you meant for the background to be black or the box to be black, I assume because you said white font- it was the box orz. Here’s the code for it though. You can edit it however you want with whatever you want. You can also send me a personal message through Chatango if you want it more customized.
