Kol couldn’t comprehend what she was hiding. It wasn’t like coming back from the dead was something that others in the past hadn’t done before. But, there was something in her eyes that told of the evils she had seen. Something no person on this planet had ever encountered. Not him, or his siblings. This aura that was as thick as hell fire and brimstone hung around her. “Some are remorseful, but then there are some who take pride in the darkness that they have alone created,” he was trying to explain in the simplest terms. The reason he believed redemption wasn’t capable for anyone to reach. He may have been wrong, but to him the world was all different shades of gray. Only certain people were completely consumed in black. “True evil thrives from the pain, and I honestly don’t think a person so vile would bother to atone for his former sins,” he explained thinking of the demons that clouded the eyes of the warlock. The kind of monsters that couldn’t be suppressed. “Normal?” He let a laugh roll from his lips, “and what is normal Katerina?” Nothing. That was the answer. Nothing in this world or the next could even come close to normal. Because normal honestly had no great definition. It was different for everyone. Just like Love, and or happiness. “Oh, but what you’re not seeming to understand is that I want your story,” he admitted leaning forward to really get the point across. “Online? Honestly, I prefer live entertainment. Or you know, technically live am I right? I’d much rather be told than read some nonsense tales over the web,” A smirk playing across his face as he raised up both of his brows. “I guarantee your story is much more entertaining, so long as you come out with it,” he didn’t really understand the need for secrets at this point. That’s why he knew, he knew that whatever way she’d achieved to get her life back.. It had been different. Wrong. And he was willing to spend all night trying to puzzle her out. “I have this astounding diligence, so no, I don’t give up,” he shrugged hoping that she would start spilling the details of her return. “Alright, this should be fun, I’ll take a guess,” he flashed back to what Malachai Parker had said.. “You make a deal with the devil himself?” It was more of a joke than anything else, honestly, he hadn’t the slightest of how she was back. How someone with no one gained ground back in the mortal realm. “Now that you mention it, I haven’t seen Nik around,” he let himself rest up against the cool steel of the bench, “but I’ll be sure to let him know your back and wishing for a nice reunion.” It was almost like black mail, but really.. It wasn’t like he hadn’t stooped lower than that before.
“That’s a good question Kol.” She breathed, head tilting to the side as she thought of it. What was normal to her? It was something she hadn’t really thought of, she just wanted to feel as if everything was balanced around her, as if everything and everyone was okay, not that she cared, she just wanted to be in peace. To not have a n y o n e bothering her. Maybe to even be a Vampire again. She wouldn’t lie to herself, she did miss feeding. “Nothing being out of place, that is normal.” She founder herself saying and licked her lips. The brunette’s gaze was focused on him, listening to every word which left his lips and she couldn’t help but sigh as he said that he’d much rather hear a story from her. She didn’t know what he would get with this. What he would win by finding out how she had crawled out of hell. It was something she felt the need to know if she were to tell him anything, but it’s as he used the form of blackmail in which her eyebrows pull together. “You don’t need to do that Kol.” She spoke, teeth sinking into her bottom lip as she tried to think of something, yet she didn’t find anything good enough to make that idea leave his mind. “Why do you want to know? Why is it so interesting, I just don’t get why you’re insisting so much.” She said, a sigh parting her lips. “Why is it so important? I just- I don’t get it Kol.”
