Junk food wasn’t something the brunette would usually chose as a meal, but apparently the dinner she’d stopped at was famous in town for their Mexican dishes and burgers, which were apparently were amazing, so of course she had to stop by and try the town’s best gastronomy. It’s as she stepped into the dinner in which she looked around herself, gaze moving from one person to the other, gaze dropping on a young pregnant girl around her age. It wasn’t her bump which caught her attention, in fact it was her looks. The girl look terrible if she were to be honest with herself and oddly she felt bad, something which she couldn’t entirely understand. Carefully, Brooke moved to sit on one of the tables next to the girl. Her fingers tapping against the table nervously and she sighed as she skimmed over the menu. She hoped the food in this place was quality like everyone seemed to say it was. Burgers and Burritos as well as sandwiches and combined plates seemed to be the only thing they served. Dropping the menu, her gaze found the brunette briefly before she looked away again. She definitely looked a lot worse than she had though, and it clearly didn’t have anything to do with being ‘sick’. It was obvious by her physical appearance. The blonde wasn’t stupid. Getting up she decided she didn’t have anything to lose and slowly she made her way towards the other, her hand reaching into her purse for two strips of red licorice, one which she’d offer her and one for herself. “Mind if I sit here?” She asked the girl yet she didn’t really wait for an answer. Holding up one of the strips, she nodded towards the girl for her to take it. “Take it.” She said. She wasn’t really offering any smiles like she usually would to get under the other person’s skin. In that moment the vampire was annoyed at herself for even approaching a stranger and do something ‘kind’ and morally correct for once. She didn’t understand herself, it was something she’d never done. Maybe she was acting the way she was due to there being a kid involved. She wasn’t sure, but it was her best guest. It was weird, and probably not only for herself but also for the other. No stranger would ever do what Brooke just had. “I figured I would help you take your mind off of whatever’s eating you up.” She said her head tilting to the side as she reached for the menu, eyes skimming over it once again, before she let her gaze meet hers. “Candy helps with that a lot, so.. If you want some more licorice just say.” She offered, before she took a bite of her trip herself. Perhaps she was being too nice, but it wasn’t as if she had anything else to do. Feeding for her usually was something she did after having some lunch.“I’m Brooke by the way.” She finally said, her lips curving into a grin. Gazing down at the menu once again her brows furrowed as she noticed Barbecue Burgers. Who the hell ate that? “Okay, do you mind giving me some type of recommendation on what to get? I know people get burritos usually, but I’m new and I’d rather not risk me being sick later.”
