Hi all, I’ve decided to make a new account to run a smorgasbord personal/music blog so if you’d like to keep up with me please follow me there 💖

So… I’m leaving uni.

I won’t go into too much personal detail here, but between academic pressures and my waning desire to go into research (cause I don’t want to do computing or lab work, basically), I’ve come to the conclusion that at this point in time I want to graduate with a bachelor’s instead of continue my master’s, and do some adult life stuff – job, driving, hobbies – for a while. I haven’t officially left yet, but we drove up to fetch my stuff today and I’ve sent an email to set things in motion, so despite my nerves, balls are rolling.

Blog-wise: both because of this, and to enact my new year’s resolution to use/reach for my phone less, I’m going to delete tumblr. I may post sporadically in the future and/or shift my music blog into a more personal blog, but for now I’m laying both blogs to rest. Thank you to all my followers and acquaintances for engaging with me over the last 6 (!) years <3

i'm gonna yap so many questions here so bear with me:

this question is probably random but... are you a uoft student? 😭 that's MY dream uni tbh as me who just recently graduated high school; i just really wish there was a lotta more scholarships available in my country to send students to canada 💔 i used to really wanna go to united states (especially in california because i wanna pursue computer science) but with all of that trump stuff & some scholarships my country stopped sending students there... so i left with canada lol. tbh, scholarships after high school in my country was SO competitive so I might as well just apply one when i'm in pre-uni then... 🫩

what is your favorite piece of stationery? collecting stationery (especially japan stationeries) are a part of my habit so i'm curious to hear about yours! :3 (btw my fav is the kuru toga, such a peak stationery)

Hi there! I’m not at UofT, I live in England, but I am visiting Toronto to see Rush next year which I’m super excited about! I’m no stationery expert but I have some lovely pens my friend bought back from her year abroad in Beijing (they’re not at home with me currently so I can’t check the brand, but it’s Chinese ofc). Good luck with the scholarship as and when you decide to apply :)
