SO, okay! I’ve been super absent from this site for the past year! Um! And it occurred to me that maybe some people don’t know what I look like? Well, here’s what I’ve been up to 

I started university in 2014! So, I'm a sophomore now. Super neat. I was a really crap student in high school so it's basically a miracle that I got in. But I did, and wouldn't you know it? I've maintained a 3.5 for the past few semesters. I got pretty sick at the beginning of 2015, like, throwing up every day for a month and not being able to breathe right. So I decided to join a sport. Since then rowing has kind of taken over my life. I'm actually the secretary of the crew now, and one of the fastest girls active on the team. I'm doing this thing we call the million meter challenge, trying to row 1,000,000m between whenever we started (November?) and April. I've very nearly halfway. That's been fun! and really challenging! I've never done sports before, so I haven't really known how hard I can push myself. I'm aiming for a 2k time below 8 minutes before the end of break (I'm very nearly there! just a few more seconds..). In Spring, we're going to Topeka to train with a former olympian. I'm ready to learn a lot! I've been drawing still, but haven't had time for a lot of digital stuff. Also, my harddrive stopped working the week before finals last year. I got everything off it, but didn't have a laptop for a while. Then, when I finally got a new one, the screen broke within a month! So it took me forever to get that sorted. I've only had it back since thanksgiving. Maybe I'll scan some stuff I've drawn and post it later! Other than that... I don't know! Maybe I'll actually post things on this blog. Maybe not. Maybe I'll make a new blog. Who knows! Who cares! I don't!

Being a part of the rowing team has shown me the sheer magnitude of human potential. Put a person in a boat, hand them an oar, give them a taste of what winning feels like—and soon enough, they will be practicing for five hours a day, will be getting up three hours before the rest of their campus to row in subzero temperatures, and will have the unstoppable willpower of a champion.
