Okay, so this one has recently happened to some people I know and it really bothers me that people still don't seem to get how serious something like this is.

Being a minor doesn't limit you from roleplaying general scenes with people -- but if a writer who is over 18 tells you they will not smut with you because you're under 18, you need to learn how to respect that boundary. Lying, deceiving and manipulating the writers around you makes them less likely to want to roleplay with you ever again. That kind of behavior gets spread around you gain a reputation and that's when you start having real problems.

Over 18 writers are not trying to alienate the under 18 set, they are protecting themselves. As adults, these writers can get into serious trouble -- that could cause them to lose their jobs, their families and be labeled as sex offenders. So while it may suck that a certain over 18 writer won't RP sexy tiem~ with you, you have to look at their perspective and respect that.

If you lie and manipulate -- I know there's one of you out here who did this just recently, know that I'm watching you and want nothing to do with you. Nor do I want you around any of my partners -- you are hurting no one but yourself in the end.

In short?

RESPECT YOUR FELLOW RP'ERS. BE HONEST. DON'T BE A LYING ASS. Seriously. People will respect you more in the end.
