Mason McCarthy | Fifteen | Sophomore Mason McCarthy here. Twin to the wonderful and fantastic Madison McCarthy. Also a member of the cheerios and future co-captain. Our goals and aspirations are often beyond comprehension for the majority but we don't let that get us down. We plan on making a name for ourselves and building our popularity in high school and throughout the extension of our lives. Our talents are wide, and we totes know how to succeed in every task and activity we are involved in. Nothing brings down the McCarthy twins, and we plan on rising to the top in everything we are apart of. Many have doubted us and tried to argue against our talents, but we have learned to overcome any adversaries and absolutely SLAY while doing it. Watch it, because we are on our way to the top and not even Kanye can bring us down.

Really? I prefer to make great first impressions, they are always the best. Wouldn’t want people thinking I’m a quiet cheerio, or a Junie B. Jones - the book is great but her as a character is offputting. Captain Obvious? That name is new but I see you two have meet. We are one in the same, but I like to think we are different types of clever - Madison is very charismatic. Nice to meet you, Sebastian! I’m assuming you don’t go to McKinley?

It’s hard to believe that so much chatter has been caused by this one cat , that is apparently the greatest cat that is currently alive. 

Anyways, do you have any ideas for glee right now? I still feel as if we are slightly holding back - and the heat is needed to be turned up if we want to get as high as we want.

Hmm, you know, they did sound a little odd for a hangover cure. But I’m happy to report back that out of everything I tried, the b-a-n-a-n-a-s helped the most! Thank God you sang it out. 

Glad to hear it, it was truly awesome. Or at least, from what I remember it was awesome!  I’m sad I didn’t get a go at the karaoke, so as long as that’s there again, I’ll be definitely up for it.

There will be another party, and maybe we can devote that mostly to karaoke just to get everyone’s voices known so we can go from there.

But hey, whilst we’re here, I just want to say, you threw and awesome party, despite the fact that I ruined my night with too much alcohol, but it was awesome! You and Madison definitely deserve the title of “best party holders ever.”

Toast or crackers is something most people don’t think of - don’t ask me the science behind it but it works. Ginger or Peppermint tea, something else you wouldn’t expect. Also, we can’t forget about bananas (had to sing to spell that one out). 

Thank you! We put the Banger in Bangerz. Most people don’t think Mads and I know how to party plan but it’s something we have down pat. I’m sure something like that will happen again if the public had fun.

After a whole new experience in partying, I think it’s safe to say that alcohol will not be passing my lips for a while. Like, a really long while. By the way, the internet lied when they said coffee helped with hangovers.

Marley! Gatorade and water are always the best things to drink. Greasy foods help a lot too for hangovers! There’s a rumor that other remedies help too, but sleeping for as long as possible is one of the best pieces of advice also.

BEST PARTY EVER || OPEN

Running around the McCarthy basement, Madison made sure everything was looking perfect. Snacks were in order, lights were strung, plenty of decorations were hanging from the bar and the ceiling. Double checking that the karaoke machine was plugged in and the song list was ready and waiting, she suddenly saw the party banner start to fall just as the doorbell rang. Suddenly, Madison’s obsessive ways kicked in. “Mason! Fix the banner! Now!” She called out as she ran to the front door, smiling at who was on the other side of it. “Welcome to the McCarthy abode! And get super pumped for the best New Directions party ever!”

Mason was running around just as much as Madison, probably a lot more. It was worse when he was the stronger one (though Madison would probably not admit it), and taller so he had to put most of the things up. He was in the middle of making sure the ice was stocked, and he was already being rushed and only had an hour and a half to get ready, not two hours. He was in the middle of already fixing the banner when Madison had told him to fix it. He gritted his teeth, turning himself towards the banner so Madison couldn’t see his entire expression. “Yes, Madison.” The male twin said, fixing the banner for the eighth time now. He was already moving next to his sister to welcome people. “It’s fixed.”

We’ll make sure they are. We still haven’t made any waves here yet. And I’m not saying we should like, do something drastic, but I’m not a fan of being just another Cheerio. Oh my gosh Mase, it’s like you don’t even know me! What should the theme be?

That’s so true. I think we will be fine, there’s just some more time we have to give. It took Quinn Fabray a good amount of time before she became the HBIC, so there’s no need to worry. I do know you, Mads! I know you better than anyone. Since it’s homecoming, I totes say go for some McKinley spirit wear.

So incase you guys didn’t hear, Mason and I will be throwing a party this weekend after the football game, and any current or past New Directions members are totes invited. We’ve got a stage and a karaoke machine all set up so make sure you get your song choices ready, and we have a pool which is heated and will be open, so bring your swim suit!

Oh! And our parents will be gone the whole weekend so if anyone wants to sleepover, feel free! We have like, plenty of space.

Madison: Competition only makes us better Mase. It makes us work harder, it always has.

Mason: I agree! We have glee and cheer, that's barely any time for others.

Mason: Maybe he won't go for the lead..I'm sure I an beat him not worried at all. I have the experience and voice.
