this reminds me of the movie Miss Representation from module 3. This documentary shows us how young girls learn to what it means to be beautiful. This woman is demonstrating that she has learned to love her body despite what society says. Society displays beautiful as white, model, always wearing makeup, tall and skinny.

this reminds me of a movie we analyzed in module 3 called The Mask You Live In. This video demonstrates how be broke the stereotypes and barriers with societal pressures through this documentary. We see him talking about how he pushed through what he calls “social suicide” and that encouraged other young men to join the cheer team as well.
