because the day was difficult, from me to you.
âTrauma permanently changes us. This is the frightening truth about betrayal. You never really get over it. At best, you grieve and make some kind of peace with it. But a major life disruption leaves a new normal behind. Thereâs no going back to who you were before.â

you are enough. you always have been, and you always will be. you are not lacking in anything. you are, wholly, right now, just as you are, deserving of love. we often like to add a âwhenâ to that sentence. iâll be enough âwhenâ. iâll be loveable âwhenâ. but you already are. there is no checklist for you to complete. right now, in this moment, you are loveable. and you are enough. read it, and read it again, and really feel it. you are enough.
I know a lot of people (including myself) have said this already, but it's okay if you stop identifying as something. Even if, in retrospect, you're not sure that label ever fit you. It doesn't mean you should never have identified that way or that you hurt the [x] community. Identities are confusing! I know I say that a lot but it's true! Identities are complicated and confusing and it's okay if you thought you were one thing and later found out you weren't!
im trying to go to sleep but i cannotttttt stop thinking about this and laughing
Listen, we have to keep this thing circulating on the internet for at least another two decades, because I have to believe that one day that little girl will be grown enough to stumble upon it and She Will Explain
Trust what your soul tells you.
that last line is absolutely phenomenal is this why yall are so keen on therapy??
because therapy isnât just about closure, and it isnât just about that one person that hurt you.

Marilyn Monroe meeting Queen Elizabeth II in London, England, on the night of The Battle of the River Plate premiere, October 29th, 1956. She also met Prince Philip and HRH Princess Margaret. It wasnât just Marilyn who was excited to meet the Queen, but she looked forward to meeting Marilyn, as well. When she asked what she was like, playwright Terrence Rattigan told her that Marilyn was âa shy exhibitionist.â
According to British reports, the Queen was impressed with Marilynâs curtsy and the two chatted about her stay in England, where she was filming The Prince and the Showgirl. According to Maurice Zolotow, Marilyn said, âCurtsying isnât difficult for me anymore. I learned how to do it for the film.â
Before leaving England, Marilyn told reporters that one of the highlights of her trip was meeting her Majesty and was also quoted saying, âShe radiates a wonderful womanly essence and softness.â
I will forever love this woman

Words
What do you do when you miss the touch of an old lover? How can you miss what you canât remember? I no longer feel the ghost of your fingertips across my skin, grazing my thigh or the warmth of your breath down my neck, leaving your mark. I canât seem to remember how your body felt against mine or the way our laughs were music to my ears for years.
Instead I recall how you thought your eyes were the most beautiful under the shine of the sun. The layers of chocolate brown were finally exposed for the world to see.
And how you would strum that guitar till your fingers bled, hoping to silence that noise in your head.
Do you remember laying on that hill? We were such kids, high off of the rush of skipping class with the one you love.
Do you remember the coffee runs? The mall reunion? Sitting on the staircase, trying to absorb as much of each other as we could?
He pushed me against the wall last night with his lips on mine.
Tell me why I only thought of you?
Weâre no longer in love, but I love remembering us.
Even if itâs just the skeletons of what we used to be.
âIn my memory, it doesnât end. We just stay there, looking at each other, forever.â
