[Thread] I like that @Ocasio2018 won... but at the same time... please... folks... don't rely just on 'voting' for your 'change' or 'resistance'. Whoever is up there doesn't change that we the people still have a responsibility to do what we can. Your candidate won? you still got your own shit you need to take care of. Your candidate didn't win? You still fucking have shit to handle. Relying on voting or policies or laws to govern your person is kind of fucking lazy... laws or no laws... you still have a responsibility as an entity in this fucking universe to some fucking accountability. If you rely just on voting, you might as well be some jackass Coloradan going to the Civic Center just on Sundays after brunch to 'resist'... while everyone fucking suffers every other goddamn day/hour because of your lazy avoidance ass. Really tired of the typical laziness of certain privileged folks to gravitate towards laws, policies, or merits as a framework... as EXCUSES... for their piss poor handling of society in general. So many goddamn messes not just in the US or just in this current era would most likely not have occurred were it not for their greedy and shallow bullshit. Sorry I'm hungry.
