I hate to make a post like this and beg for help, but my boyfriend and I are currently in a dangerous situation and we can’t afford to get out right now- We really need help.
Last night/this morning, his mother assaulted us while we were trying to leave an AirBnB to get home (she got shitfaced drunk, as she tends to do, and became violent. We just wanted to go back home and not deal with her being drunk.)
We called authorities, but charges weren’t pressed because we worried about the household and my boyfriend’s little sibling’s safety. But now she says that I attacked her first. Even though I never laid a finger on her until after she had me pinned on the pavement by my hair.
We got lucky that she’s still allowing me to stay, but she and her boyfriend both flipped on a dime and are being extremely hostile and transphobic to me. They’ve threatened to kick me to the curb without anywhere to go unless I ‘seek therapy that won’t feed into my transgender delusions.’ But I cannot afford therapy regardless of what kind I get, and I have absolutely no one else to turn to as I am almost a 24/hr drive away from my home state with no friends or family nearby. I’m completely isolated here.
We were originally saving to move into an apartment in July, but we need out now. It’s no longer safe for us here, and we don’t trust the authorities to take our side if they were to step in.
We just want someplace safe to live and not bother this woman anymore.
My boyfriend and I have jobs, but neither of us are making enough of a steady income to currently afford a new place. Though we both plan to talk to our employers about adding more hours to our shifts.
If anyone would be willing to commission me or @cheespuf (my bf, you should totally at least look at his work- it’s phenomenal), it would extremely help out. We need to escape this place. His mother has proven that she’s not afraid to be physically violent with either of us (especially him), and we can’t risk our lives to live here anymore-
