Another Bakarina Art

I really should have used a ruler or folded an A4 paper in half crosswise because this ended up not being as centered as I would have liked, also I always make her side bangs too big :c

I made this one last year (Dec. 2024). I've been trying to relearn anatomy after a long time not being able to draw due to college and stuff. So I decided to draw my blorbo so that I wouldn't be easily hit by art block. I've discovered artists who used watercolor and I tried to combine their different styles.

Looking at the art right now, I could see most of the stuff that did not match my original vision and why it didn't but I'm pretty satisfied with it (smth smth learning lesson).

I decided to use my rainbow pencils (those pencils with 4 colors at their core: red, yellow, green, and blue at each quarter) for lineart but I also used waterbased markers for lineart. I also used metallic watercolor paints for the eyes and jewelry but I keep forgetting that I have to still treat it like normal watercolor if I did not want it to become flat (and I keep forgetting that it doesn't show up that sparkly in scan/digitally). I did like how the metallic swirls looked in the background though.

Turns out the Hue/Saturation tool trick isn't applicable to the entire area. One hue shift fits a specific section but not the others. I had to manual select which one gets selected

One will be for the Wicked The Book/Musical characters, they're a mix of book description, musical actors and actresses, and my own take on the characters. The other, Wicked The MOVIE, are based on the movie actors' appearances. This is only to avoid confusion
