Productive nature journaling session the other day! I appear to have accidentally deleted my photos of the green heron. :( I've been trying to collect photos of all of our local herons for an art piece I have in mind and they were one of the last to go. I'm hoping they just ended up in the wrong folder and I'll find them again. If I can, I just have black crowned night herons left to go...

some lore for my wings of fire au; this takes place post war, 50 years later where certain hybrids are super common, sandwing and icewing hybrids being one of them! between the two deserts of ice and sand theres a village that has been growing slowly and steadily shared between icewings and sandwings, and multiple dragons pass through. that's where lavender is from! it's starting to be considered a city, but there's actually several other cities that grew up from the ground
