Here are some photos from the big Manufacturing/plastics expo I attended at the Javitz last week. First up @dragonqueen1 testing out Dancakes new pancake art kit, ( the rainbow was the one I made, the deadpool-achu was done by dan him self). Next some examples off of the HP 3D Printer. Then a very smooth moving robot arm. A enable arm made of nylon. And last the robot greeter at seed solutions. I went to the after hours release event at the LEGO Store for the new Stranger Things Lego set, it was great! There was this Lego alphabet wall with Lego Props like a walkie talkie and Lego Eggo waffle. They had 1980’s era snacks like bazooka Joe gum, chocolate pudding, smarties, pez, cheezeits and slim Jim’s everyone got to build a mini of the castle Byers fort from the show and take it home. All the while 80s music was playing the whole time. The Stranger things Set is amazing featuring the stranger things house in Day world and in the upside down. Complete with minifigures of the characters even a mini figure Demigorgon. In preparation for seeing Avengers End game at 2:30am this morning with @dragonqueen1 (cause we forgot to preorder tickets) I made this infinity gauntlet, threw it together in under 3 hours (shorter than the movie it self), I 3D printed the gauntlet parts then glued them all to a dish washing glove and sprayed the whole thing chrome gold and color 3D printed the Infinity stones. Boom Infinity gauntlet and I didn’t have to kill anybody (in your face Thanos!) I got my XYZ Color 3D mini 3D printer from the indigogo campaign I backed last year! Full color FDM printing. First print I did was the little Snoopy Dog House, the 2nd was the preloaded mask file that came with the machine. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the First Naginata class at the Ken-Zen Institute, it started with calligraphy demo by @dyerandsparks, and continued with the Naginata demo then practice taught by sensei @iamtheyin . Happy National Oreo Day everybody! I got a gift of these “the most stuff” Oreos from my friend, they have a massive amount of “stuff”. Here’s a little project of mine. After finding a Lego figure that looked like @lilyxsu, I was inspired to make a LEGO diorama that represents her and some of the things she does. I 3D printed a Mini Oculus rift to show her work in VR/AR, 3D printed a 3D printer and recreated her 3D printed teeth tea set in LEGO form. The computers feature actual screens of her work.
