Tamagotchi Booth at New York Comic-Con 2023
New York Comic-Con 2023 is part of the World Tamagotchi Tour that Bandai is on following the global release of the Tamagotchi Uni this Summer. This is the second convention that they attended and it looked really familiar to those who attended the San Diego Comic-Con 2023!
This is very common that Bandai uses elements, if not the entire booth display at various events throughout the year. We’ve seen the booth design at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, New York Toy Fair 2023, and now New York Comic-Con 2023!
The booth featured the classic large Tamagotchi Original in the Mametchi Spaceship shell, a 2023 convention exclusive with a large screen inside playing promotional videos.

Bandai Namco US also brought statues of both Kuchipatchi and Mametchi which were a huge hit too. You’ll also see the Tamagotchi Nano’s were on display, as well as the Tamagotchi Original wall that we all know and love. We really love this display!

Of course the Tamagotchi Uni was on display in its showcase along with accessories such as the bands, and lanyards.

The Tamagotchi Uni photo opportunity was another huge hit at the booth! Bandai Namco US brought the large Tamagotchi Uni in pink that is the frame for the perfect photo opportunity, and that cute background. Many booth visitors were taking advantage of this!
The booth also provided an area for visitors to purchase some of the latest Tamagotchi’s, including the Tamagotchi Original convention exclusive shells, Tamagotchi Uni, and several Tamagotchi Nano’s. New for the New York Comic-Con 2023 were these television screens above the booth which provided live updates on inventory, and more information on which shells required a ticket. Talk about an upgrade!

Those who purchased a Tamagotchi Uni receive Tama Stickers that are exclusive to the World Tamagotchi Tour. That includes UFO Hat, Tama Tour Flag, and Tama Tour Rainbow. All purchases were packaged in an exclusive World Tamagotchi Tour bag along with a Tamagotchi World Tour can badge!
