The best and only way to get around St. Lucia! When staying at any resorts Iām the north part of the island I always suggest taking the heli to your resort itās a 15 min scenic flight or a 1-2 hour drive through the mountains. We were late for our photo shoot @sandalshalcyonbeach because I was coming from the spa, šš»āāļø but the sunset worked out perfectly. Can I fly back to St. Martin with these wings?! Did you know Sint Maarten/Saint Martin is a duel nation - Dutch & French. The two sides are very different. Different food, languages, architecture & vibe. They even use different currencies. The Dutch side is more Americanized because they have the cruise port, and thatās why we prefer the French side. We recently got to visit the newly renovated Sandals Royal Bahamian! Itās gorgeous! Small and compact so good for those that donāt like a huge resort, but also has a private island to escape to! Throwback to my first trip abroad! I couldnāt find anyone to go with me so I went solo! Armed with a paper map and a rental car and no exact plans, I drove around the whole country - met a lot of great people, danced, drank a lot of Guinness and discovered a whole new person in myself. I remember crying on the plane ride home not wanting to leave and thus began my love of travel. Since then Iāve been to over 50 countries and counting. Iāve learned new languages, experienced different cultures and traditions, savored meals around the world and met really amazing people. This trip was my tipping point. It changed my whole life, my mindset, my demeanor. It fueled my fire to live, to create a life of substance - a life I would love living. Almost 10 years later Iāve done just that. My only regret is that itās taken me so long to get back to this magical country. One of my favorite places in Nashville was the @cashmuseum Who isnāt a fan of the legend that is Johnny Cash, but after visiting his museum you really feel a connection to his life and music. Did you know he never spent time in jail? Just played in them and was a big fan of prisoner reform and had talks with Nixon about it. The food did not stop coming - plate after plate of delicious authentic Greek food in a nice quiet village up the mountain.
