( HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT: I’m moving out of my current residence & struggling to find an apartment of my own with NO room mates. It’s very stressful, to say the least. My current roommate abandoned me on the side of the highway a few nights ago after she picked me up from work. It was the final straw for me. I’ve been patient with her issues for a very long time, but putting my life at risk went too far. I had to cross a highway construction zone full of trenches with only my low battery phone as a light in the darkness. I was terrified. That, along with walking on eggshells living with her, always waiting for that next screaming fit… it’s too much anxiety for me to handle. I’d rather pay 3x the amount in rent that I pay here just to be away from her. I won’t have a laptop when I leave, so I won’t be able to get online & write like I used to. Not until I can get all settled in, get internet set up, & an operating system put on an old laptop of mine. I am NOT deactivating! I plan to come back to all of my muses when I can. I hope you’ll keep me around until then. If anyone wants my discord, feel free to message me over on @rougelabat​ that’s where my tumblr app is set up. )

Kuzco appeared more than unimpressed by her attempted apology, however sincere. If he had been having a bad day, she would most certainly be in for a harsh punishment but he had been having such a great time at the parade. He saw no reason to kill the vibe by putting someone to death. The damage was already done, after all.

“Alright, cool it with the crocodile tears, would ya? This isn’t everyone look at the girl who just tripped the emperor day. It’s everyone look at ME day.” He told her, pressing a hand to his own chest. “Still, I should punish you somehow…” The emperor paused to think, pressing a finger to his chin thoughtfully.

“How do you feel about being the royal llama herder for a month? My boys could use a break.” Despite phrasing it as a question, he failed to mention that she didn’t have a say in the matter either. A few excited shouts could be heard coming from the crowd as if they approved of Kuzco’s suggestion.

“Make her groom them, too!” One person shouted.

“And feed them!” Another chimed in.

“And also pick up after them, right?” Inquired Kuzco who went right back to being smug the moment he felt he had regained control of the situation. Cheers from the crowd made the answer to that question an overwhelming yes.

“Better yet… you can be on Kuzco Jr. duty. What d’ya think? Yes or yes?”

Royal... llama herder? Watching over livestock wasn’t exactly her forte. Swiping their owner’s possessions while they were distracted was more her style. As if the circumstances weren’t bad enough, the throng of people surrounding her predicament just added to the chaos of her strange punishment. Matters could be worse, of course. She could be thrown into a pit to join the afterlife instead. Beggars can’t be choosers. Biting down her irritation, Chel tore her low glare from the villagers & managed to calm herself despite the situation.  “Anything to please you, my lord.” She answered. As her knees were still connected to the ground, she began to carefully rise, but kept her head bowed. Finally, her gaze flicked upward to meet his own onyx orbs. It was now that she had a real good look at the leader she had so desperately tried to peek at previously.  Hmm... not as intimidating as I thought... but at least he has style. Dipping her hip to one side, she placed her hands on the outer frame of her thighs & smiled, finishing her statement a bit quieter. “And I do mean anything.”

The hustle & bustle of the docks became an environment in which the curvaceous thief could thrive. Visitors were always coming & going, too busy with their travel plans to pay her any mind. She had started to wonder when she herself would venture to another land. There wasn’t any dire need to. After all, the kingdom of Corona had been good to her... why go running off so soon? Swaying her hips through the shoulder-to-shoulder mass, swift fingers picked valuables out of passing pockets. When her hand dove into a particular satchel, Chel found herself caught in the act for the first time in months. Cocoa eyes had widened with shock, while her hibiscus lips managed to smile nervously. If worse came to worse, perhaps her feminine wiles could save her in the end. Again. Anything to save her from the consequences of her actions.
