“I dunno, sounds pretty good to me,” he half smirked, curiosity well piqued. “How many roommates? You can’t be the only one around the place that does any cooking, can you? Because I’ll say speaking from experience, they will not survive the rest of their lives if you’re the only one at the stove for now. They’ll burn down their apartments the day you’re not cooking for them anymore.” To his credit, Florian was well aware that he could get a bit long-winded at points, but he came from a long line of movers and shakers who knew how to talk. It was hardly his fault. “I was thinking about it, yeah,” he admitted, glancing down the street. “No plans set in stone, but it seemed like a good night to get out, catch up with some people or meet some new ones… No time like the present, I figure. And no roommates to cook for either, unfortunately,” he lied. He hated living with people, but it sounded nicer to say that she had it good.
“Two, but I don’t really trust either of them with fire and gas,” Chel admitted. Then again, could she be trusted with either one? Perhaps more than her foolish roommates, but she’d been prone to setting things on fire more than once. “If they burn ‘em down when I’m not around, then I guess that’s their fault. I’ll hopefully be nice and cozy in a mansion where people cook for me. What a dream.” Fat chance she’d get that far in life, but a girl could hold out hope. If she spoke it into the universe enough times, surely it had to happen. “I hear the Hause of Mause is perfectly uptight this time of day, so why not head there for your fun? Seems like it’s right up your alley, unless you’re cooler than you look.”
