Hey wassup! Im a photographer in Chattanooga and have a photoshoot with a model in Atlanta but Im not familiar with the area at all... Where are some cool places to shoot fashion style Photography in ATL?

Hmmm.. most of the places I go to shoot are abandoned/overgrown/etc. so if that’s what you had in mind then definitely check out South Atlanta, East Point, the Lakewood area. There are some cool ruins of an old water filtration facility behind Mason Mill Park & Ira B. Melton Park in Decatur. The old Candler mansion off Briarcliff Rd has a beautiful overgrown greenhouse that literally glows at sunset. 

Otherwise, East Atlanta Village, Old Fourth Ward, and the Edgewood area are pretty visually interesting neighborhoods, lots of cool murals and whatnot. Crog Street Tunnel could be a nice busy background for pictures, but you may need a flash or a strobe or some kind of light source.

I just went to Constitution Lakes Park to check out the Dolls Head Trail yesterday, which was pretty cool. 

Sorry, I’m pretty inexperienced when it comes to fashion photography, so I don’t know what kinds of locations are ideal for fashion shoots. I typically just use Google Earth to find interesting spots from a birds eye view lol. I hope at least some of that is helpful!
