A new chapter
Your background was as wild as anyone elses just mixed with several different countries. Your parents had moved to liverpool when you where born and you started your life in the best city in the world, then you had to move to Denmark with your family up until you decided to move to Greece. Greece was perfect for you - warm weather, clear blue skies, endless amounts of beaches and amazing food but there where of course times where you missed your family home in Denmark. You decided to move away to Greece for a job which you couldn't pass up, it was a one in a life time opportunity; missing out would of been stupid. Greece had become home for you and you couldn't help but think about how much you had actually fell in love with this country.
Since you had moved to Greece your dad couldn't help but ring you everyday. There where times where he would ring you to catch up or to ask you if you where sick of the hot weather and gorgeous beaches and wanted to come home (that was never the case though). Throughout every phone call football would become a key topic to talk about as many amazing players where playing in Greece. A player you had heard about a million times over was Kostas Tsimikas, a player that moved to Denmark on loan from olympiacos when you moved to Greece. Your dad couldn't help but want you to one day bump into him when he was back in Greece and convince him to move to Liverpool to play for the best club in the world and his home city. What your dad didn't know is what was actually going on behind the phone calls. Every time your dad would speak to you about the possibility of bumping into kostas or the rumours about him moving to Liverpool you would put the phone on speaker and let the conversation play out without him knowing that player was infact listening to every word.
You and kostas had met a few months after you had moved to Greece and everything had become perfect since. You had been with kostas nearly a year and your parents had no idea and you wanted to keep it that way. Of course there was the throat renching feeling of them wanting to meet kostas and embarrass you but there was also a feeling of excitement and joy at the idea of them randomly meeting kostas. Your family where coming down to stay for a few weeks and it was the perfect time for kostas to meet them. Your parents had come with you when you first moved to Greece and helped you move in but confusions and therioes where starting to shine through as you had given them an address to go to in a very unrecognisable area. Your dad knew something was going on but all he could think about was the fact you had probably just moved house and not had time to tell him (or thats what he hoped).
"Are you nervous?" You softly said to kostas running your hands down his pecks whilst you stood behind his back watching his gorgeous face through the mirror. You couldn't tell whether or not kostas felt nerves at all as no matter where he was he was always the most calm and tranquil person. Kostas's hands found yours on his pecks and squeezed the warm skin in-between his.
"No not really although I don't really remeber much Danish" kostas admitted with a dry laugh as the humour started to fade into panic as he thought there was no chance of being able to communicate with them.
"Oh don't worry they know English like me" you softly said looking at his face in the seemless mirror. His face was soft, angelic and gentle, he seemed at peace. You didn't know how kostas would handle the idea of meeting your parents when they dont even know about it but he was as cool and calm as ever.
"Right ok, that's fine then" kostas said accepting the fact that him not remembering a single world of Danish from a few years ago would not affect your parents opinions. This day had been anticipated for months from yourself and only yourself. Your parents had no clue in the world you where dating a footballer and they had no clue in the world the rumours about a potential transfer was true. You couldn't wait to see the faces on your parents and it just made it all the more special that you had a big secret to tell them.
Knock knock
"Oooo shit" you mumbled trying to untangle yourself from kostas's arms without pulling him onto the floor. You started to feel way more nerves than before as you made your way over to the large front door. Kostas's footsteps padded behind you until stopping you abruptly just before the hall into the doorway.
"What?" You quickly asked not understanding what was so urgent for him to blurt out. Was he having seconds thoughts? Was he actually feeling nervous for once? Had he just realised he didn't particularly like you? Your head was going around in a million and one different circles and for the life of you you couldn't think what it was he wanted from you.
"Can I answer the door? I think it makes it a way better surprise" kostas asked with his greek accent running out of his mouth laced onto his English words. Your worries and anxious thoughts fell from your mind at the words in your ears.
"Yeah I'll wait here" you quickly said with a rush of excitement as you watched kostas gently pad his shirt down to release any creases. Kostas's hand fell onto the door handle and gently pulled open the heavy door.
"Oh y/n hel-" your dad burst out shouting until stopping any form of words being produced at the sight infront of him. A footballer. Infront of his eyes his favourite youngster was infront of his stance.
"I'm sorry do you live here? It's only because my daughter sent us this address to arrive at but your obviously not our daughter" you heard your mum ramble on with a laugh admiring the young boy she had thought she had intruded upon.
"No no I think this is the right house mum" you said as you ran towards the front door from behind kostas. You couldn't hold your enthusiasm inside you for any longer, all you wanted to do was hug your two favourite people. You wrapped your arms around your mum and dad embracing them in a huge hug.
"Oh-Oh my god y/n" your mum said in pure shock at you flying out of some young man's house as a surprise. No words where falling from your dad's mouth but his embrace was rapped around you speaking nothing but a million amazing messages.
"Hi" you said with a laugh and a bright smile on your face. "This is kostas" you added standing back and taking his hand in yours whilst leading him over to you.
"Oh I know who that is" your dad laugh in a world of his own pointing at the young man infront of him in the doorway.
"Its nice to meet you" kostas replied back with a laugh taking your father's hand and embracing him into some sort of lad hug. Your mum looked at you with the brightest smile at how much your positivity was shinning through. She could see a different you, a happy you - one she didn't always gets at home due to boys there, they where anything but kostas.

"Oh y/n this is absolutely lovely" your mum admitted trying to keep the English coming out her mouth rather than Danish. The sun was setting across the country yet the high temperature still ran through yours and kostas's garden.
"tak skal du have mum" you replied back to your mum. You wanted to make sure your mum knew you hadn't disgarded your true culture and home country behind as there was no way that could of been forgiven.
"That means thank you, I know that" kostas randomly said with a laugh at the words he recognised. You could tell everytime your parents or you would say something in Danish the cog works in his brain where going around way to many times.
"It does babe" you replied with a laugh whilst feeling his large hand run across your thigh under the neath the garden table. Kostas was the most affectionate man known to earth yet you didn't think he would be around your parents (oh where you proven wrong).
"So how did you two meet then?" Your dad asked wanting to start a nice conversation off with the two off you. Your dad's hand was rapped around your mums shoulders matching what kostas's other arm was doing which made you feel slightly funny at the fact you actually had a boyfriend you where letting into the family.
"Basically I was minding my own buisness one day and she came flying over asking for a picture...proper fangirl" kostas joked sending your head to snap towards his at the blatant lie he was using. Your mum and dad couldn't help but laugh at the joke from your boyfriend knowing that it was 1 rather funny and 2 more than likely going to get on your nerves.
"That's not what happened at all" you laughed pushing your hand against his chest to stop him from going on any further whilst his laughs where all that could be heard.
"We met in a restaurant, he wouldn't leave me alone" you pointed out with a laugh sending kostas's cheek red. You weren't wrong. The day you and kostas had met you where playing hard to get and something told kostas to not give up on what could be an amazing girlfriend.
"Oh isn't that sweet" your mum replied back to the story thinking about the young love you where both experiencing. It was amazing to recognise the bonding between everyone. so far was going so well.

The night was coming to a close, birds where leaving, the stars where shinning and there was a cooler breeze in the air. You, kostas and your parents where sat on the couch watching some crap TV which none of you where really paying any attention to. Your head was rested on kostas's thighs whilst his hand was running up and down your shoulder aimlessly. Your body become so content when embraced in kostas's and your parents could notice just that.
"You seem to really like her dont you?" Your dad asked kostas when your mum left the living room and there was nothing but sleep taking over your body. Kostas smiled at the thought of what you two actually had, it was something he didn't think he would ever get to experience.
"I do, I love her" kostas admitted sending his dad's heart racing at the fact the relationship was so far and he hadn't had chance to have the 'you hurt her and I'll break your legs' chat. Your dad couldn't help but think about kostas's personality - it was perfect for yours, there was a clear connection within the two of you.
"We haven't told her yet but we are thinking of moving back to Liverpool" kostas's dad admitted not wanting to tell you yet incase it was something that would upset you. Kostas knew it was going to be ok as there was a secret he was yet to share with any of you.
"Well I'm sure that will be fine" kostas replied smugly with a smirk on his face whilst his fingers ran through your long hair. Your dad's face turned into a somewhat confused look as he couldn't understand why the possibility of his daughter moving was something her boyfriend could like the idea of.
"Why? Is something going on?" Your dad asked becoming slightly protective at the idea of an ending of a relationship you where clearly fond off.
"I'm moving to Liverpool" kostas blurted out way before his brain could stop its words. Your dad's eye widened at the fact his dream was actually coming true nevermind the fact his daughter had a boyfriend, the idea of his favourite player moving to his favourite club made his life come to a holt.
"Oh my god!" Your dad screamed jumping up from the couch causing your eyes to jump open with the sudden noice.
"What the fuck" you mumbled pushing your hands onto your face at the loud shouting and the bright light in the room. Kostas and your dad's eyes looked down at your small frame as you tiredly sat up next to him. You felt there eyes burning through your body, for a second you thought it was you but you knew there was nothing you had done to send your dad shouting and jumping into the air. "What's with all the shouting?" You added not understanding why screaming at the top of your lungs at half 12 at night was ever justified.
"Well y/n I have some news" kostas admitted turning to look at you more clearly whilst your dad sat back on the couch containing his excitement.
"Oh god is it good or bad?" You asked becoming worried as to what he was about to tell you. There was no question in your mind about if this was the end of the road or there had been a mistake but your body was still dancing with worry.
"Well I think good" kostas said lightly with a wide grin on his face. His hand snaked into yours feeling his small fingers around his. It was time. The moment had come where he was going to break the news. "I've agreed a 5 year contract with liverpool" he blurted out at you not really thinking much about it. Your eyes widened at his words, you couldn't believe it. Not only had today been a memorable day as he could meet your parents it was also the day you found out the next adventure.
"Kostas that's amazing" you replied back in utter awe at the man infront of you. Your heart grew wider than ever before, it was perfect. Your arms wrapped around his large shoulders tightly in his embrace. His warmth fell onto yours and there was nothing but love and emotion written in between your bodies.
"Your going to go back to your second home baby" kostas mumbled to you kissing your head, looking down at your small frame grasping tightly around his large build. He loved this. It was you and him on this adventure he couldn't ever forget about. This was the moment your next chapter was about to begin.

Your birthday was a day dedicated to the one thing kostas was completely and utterly obsessed with - you. Birthdays where of course a huge thing growing up but since meeting kostas life had become far more thrilling and exciting which of course ment birthdays came with an extortionate price of amazing memories. The more older you where getting the more annoying a birthday started to become. You loved the idea of a birthday - presents, cake, memories, love and alot of laughter but that wasn't always there as the most important thing seemed to be getting older. Old age scared you, to you 25 ment 79 which didn't fit well within your brain. Kostas would always tell you how much he loved your birthday as he could spoil you with no dismiss of the gift.
21st April was a date to welcome in spring and all of its new beggingings. The sun was shining through the open spaces within the curtains and gave a soft glow to your shared room. Kostas's body was pressed into yours with his large hand along your stomach not letting go since his eyes shut the night before. Your eyes gently opened at the brights lights decorating what once was a dark and dull lit room. Your body shifted in kostas's embrace turning around and resting your head on his warm and inviting chest, kostas's hand slowly rested into your hair feeling every inch off you in his hands. You could of stayed in his soft and warm embrace until the night sky took over again. The world had become a simple and peaceful place when in his company; the world was safe to you.
"Happy birthday princess" kostas sleepily spoke planting a soft kiss onto your hair as his eyes rested onto your small frame. Your heart grew 10 times at the sound of his greek accent sitting into your ears. Your arms snaked around his waist wanting to become closer to his tempting body.
"Too early to start talking" you mumbled further into his chest as he pulled you on top of his whilst he layed fully onto his back. Kostas's hand ran up and down your bare back feeling every inch of your amiable skin.
"But it's your birthday babe" kostas whispered looking down upon your body now laying on top of his. He loved the feeling off you trapped onto him, he knew there was no amount of expressions which would cause you to want to break up the embrace. Kostas couldn't understand why you seemed to want to postpone your birthday to enjoy the affecition you receive every morning, as if this was him he would of been down the stairs opening as many presents as possible bang on midnight.
"Mhhmm" you mumbled into his neck wanting nothing more than to lie peafully in bed until you had somewhere you really had to be.
"Right thats it" kostas said getting progressively louder since he had first woke up. His arms wrapped around your body as he sat up in bed with your legs around his waist. You knew what he was going to do it was always going to be his strong arms escorting you down stairs in order for you to make a move. Kostas made his way down to the bottom of the stairs being greeted by two extremely load and excited dogs.
"Good morning you two" you said into kostas's neck hearing the load talking they both acted upon. You jumped down from your boyfriends embrace looking up at his handsome features.
"You going to let me treat you like a birthday girl now?" Kostas asked you placing his hands onto each side of your neck and looking into your deep blue eyes. You simply nodded your head in agreement wanting nothing more than to just sit down and not be stood on cold laminate floors infront of your stairs.

"And this is your last present" kostas said passing over a large pink box with a huge bow on top. You couldn't understand what he could have possibly bought you as he had already bought you everything a girl would ever want. Kostas had a tendency to spoil you without a meaning of the word no. He promised to forever treat you right and thats what he was doing - presents, love, kisses, hugs, memories and an amazing life. Everything was yours in his eyes.
"Why is it so big?" You asked with a laugh as he placed it infront of you as you sat on the floor infront of your large grey couch. You carefully opened the lid of this huge box being slightly frightened at what he could of possible bought you this big. A coffee machine? A printer? A microwave? For the life of you you couldn't think what it could be. Your eyes diverted themselves into the box focusing on the tiniest puppy. Your heart stopped. Another tiny puppy for your already chaotic dog family.
"Oh my god" you mumbled with tears rushing into your eyes teasing to fall. Kostas formed a grin from ear to ear onto his excited face at the moment he had been waiting for. Maui and Fuerte made eye contact with the box from the other couch wanting to know what all the fuss was about. You and kostas had vaguely mentioned the idea of a new dog but simply dismissed it naturally; this was very much a surprise.
"Babe I think you should get her out the box before she bites her way through it" he said with a laugh picking up the small dalmatian and placing her into your small shakey hands. Maui barked from a far seeing what could only be described in his eyes as an attention seeker. Your two dogs begged for nothing but attention from the two of you and they where more than aware that there would be a serious decrease if another dog made its way into the family.
"Lad that's not nice" kostas warned to the dog at the end of the room with a pointed finger already becoming protective of the tiny dog. Fuerte was quiet, gentle and soft looking at the tiny girl in your arms. Fuerte was you in a dog - gentle, warm, tranquil and portrayed alot of motherly qualities so getting her on yours and the puppies good side was going to take a matter of seconds.
"Look at her" you cooed down into your arms strocking the spotty puppy layed out on your skin. Your two dogs gently moved towards you not wanting to scare there new family member. Kostas portrayed nothing but a nervous glare upon his face at what maui was going to do. Maui was the 2nd lad in the house which ment he was loud, cocky, playful with no filter so bringing a tiny puppy into his sight may not have been the smartest idea.
"This is your baby sister" you said to them both watching there heads knock to the side at your statement. Fuerte gently layed her head onto your bare thigh taking a closer look at the small 4 legged creature. Your hand rested upon her soft head watching how her eyes admired the puppies every move. It was calm before the storm as maui let out the loudest bark known to man. This wasn't going to kostas's plan.
"Oh sweet jesus maui" kostas mumbled as he scared himself due to his own dog causing him to run his hands through his yet to be taimed hair. He picked maui up bringing him over to the couch to calm him down. Kostas watched you, with these two beautiful girl dogs. You and fuerte had the most perfect bond filled with joy and admirable memories which he knew would now be joined with the tranquil puppy.

Your birthday was slowly coming to a light end. The night was still young and fresh to you all and was going to be spent eating amazing food and listening to the classics in some nicely done up restaurant. Kostas had booked a pleasant restaurant along the Albert docks looking out upon Liverpools water front.
"Babe does this look ok?" You ask staring in the mirror trying to pat down any indication of suspicious thoughts. You had a secret. A secret that wasn't supposed to be this prolonged.
"Better than ok" kostas agreed standing behind you in the full length mirror bringing his hands over to your waist pulling your body into his. Soft lips made their way onto your neck exploring every inch of bare flesh. There was nothing more that kostas wanted than to cancel the meal and love you like there was no tomorrow, but neglecting plans with your family and friends wasn't going to be his most intelligent move. Your heart skipped a million beats at his exploring hands along your waist. Your biggest kept secret could of all fell from the lies and ignorance due to his wondering hands. Your secret had become the most difficult message and now more than ever you where more than likely going to let yourself down. "We have half an hour till we need to get there babe" kostas added admitting his idea to you. You couldn't. You weren't going to spend your time acting upon something that you both knew would end up being all night and besides you didn't know how long you had left until you would be bringing everything back up from the day out of your mouth, and that wasn't cute; going straight to the restaurant and getting the night done with seemed like the best idea.
"Come on love we don't have enough time" you gently said with a smile holding onto his hands and carefully releasing them from your body. "When we get home though" you added with a cheeky grin to cover up the bare face lies coming from your lips. You of course knew the likely hood of you two getting it on after the night out was very unlikely. At the moment anything revolving making your issue worst had your stomach in knots. There was nothing sexy about you ending up fast asleep on the bottom of your shared bed with your dress and heels still on.
You and kostas had always wanted a baby but it still scared you the minute you saw the two lines. Kostas was at training, it was just you. The world seemed to stop when you saw it, it was just you...and your baby. You where amazed at the idea of you becoming a mum but scared at the idea of ruining kostas's career. Deep down you knew a baby wouldn't ruin his career but anxious thoughts where all you could think off.
"Ok then missy" kostas replied using the nickname he had begin to use on you since the day you met due to you always getting your own way. Before you knew it kostas was dragging you out of the house by your hand making his way to his big range rover. Your birthday was something supposed to be filled with excitement and laughter (which it was) but now it was overtaken by worries about your news.
"Its getting quite warm now no?" Kostas asked clambering into the car looking over at your worried expression. "Babe what's up?" He added become concerned as to what had got you down on your special day. Your head sprung up at his question sending your heart racing at the concern in his voice.
"Nothing I'm fine darling" you said trying to convince him that there was nothing on your mind. Kostas knew, of course he knew. You two had been together for 6 years. He decided to leave the concern running through his mind as he didn't want to ponder on something you clearly didn't want to speak about. Normally kostas would be adamant to find out what was wrong but today he decided to put a stop to it.

You had arrived at the restaurant and it was everything and anything you had wanted. Your family and friends gathered to celebrate your day and gave you all the love and affection you could of wanted. You hadn't been to clued up on how to disguise the fact that you werent drinking alcohol but nobody had noticed as off now. You where sat with kostas across from your girlfriends listening to them ramble on about what they had got up to with their children, you weren't going to lie you weren't completely aware on what was actually being said, your mind was in another place. Your mind was thinking about what was to come in the coming 6 months. You had been hiding this secret from your friends and family for a month now and you had just reached 3 months and a half of your pregnancy - there was no hiding what was happening. Kostas already thought you had become more snappy with him, way more picky on food and he couldn't understand why you where spending more time hung over the toilet than talking to himself. There was no doubt in your mind that today wasn't the best day to tell him your news. Your brain started to act way before your body could stop yourself from doing the unimaginable.
"Can I have everyone's attention for one sec" you said with a laugh and shaky hands whilst standing up infront of everyone. Your family and friends eyes fell upon your shaken up body and there was no question that it was something serious.
"Y/n what's up?" Kostas mumbled at you becoming worried about what was going to fall from your mouth. He could sence the panic radiating from your small frame. There was no message forming in his mind which would answer the question upon why you had decided to announce something when he knew how nervous you truly got.
"Thank you all for coming and celebrating my birthday im honestly so honoured and truly blessed to know such amazing people. Thank you for making my birthday so special and memorable. I know birthdays are supposed to be celebrating and appreciating one person but there is someone I am massively grateful for and cannot leave without saying this message too" you took a deep breathe releasing the anxiety from your mind, you where in the action and there was no time like the present, you couldn't get out of it. "Kostas, thank you so much for going to these efforts every year to make my birthday as amazing as you can do. I'm honoured to know such a strong and courages man I can share my life with. I share every day with you and I cant thank you enough for bringing a smile to mine and ours dogs faces everyday. Today you have welcomed a new four legged friend into out family so now it is my turn...kostas..." you took a huge deep breath. "your going to be a dad" you finally admitted with a heart felt meaning in every word. You did it, you said it, you where going to be a mum and the whole of your close circle knew. Kostas's eyes widened at your words, he was going to be a dad.
"Are you joking?" Kostas asked with a laugh looking up from his chair at your bright smile. His hand fell into place upon yours and felt the warmth of your body on his. You shuck your head signalling there was no sence of a joke in the words you had just spoken. Kostas abruptly stood up and wrapped his strong arms around your delicate and fragile body.
"Oh my god" kostas mumbled into your neck feeling your head rest into the crook of his. His dream was to become a dad to the most amazing children but he also had a dream to watch you become the best mum you had always destend to be. "Your going to be a mum birthday girl" he softly said with excitement with tears controlling his words. He couldn't stop the emotion falling from his eyes, it was your birthday yet he had become the luckiest man in the world.

Attending the Euro 2020 final between England and Denmark had put you in a strange position. With you being Ben's girlfriend, but originally from Denmark, it gave you some thought as who to support.
Eventually you choose the middle way, deciding on a Denmark shirt and an England scarf and hat.
"What's this?" Ben looked incredulously at the shirt you wore when you went to see him after the match. His comment was followed by a smile, though.
"Don't judge me," you defended, chuckling, "I'm wearing an England scarf and hat, too."
"I'm not judging," Ben smirked, leaning in to give you a kiss, "but I would advise changing the shirt before you set foot in the dressing room."
"Right..." That thought hadn't occurred to you yet. You were so used to Ben being perfectly accepting of your support for your home country's team, you forgot that some of his teammates might be less open-minded about it.
"Come here." Ben smiled, whilst quickly taking off his match shirt. "You can wear this."
You took the shirt he handed you and put it on over your Denmark shirt. "Hm, nice and sweaty," you winked.
"It's this, or being chased by half the England squad," Ben joked.
You grinned at him. "This is definitely the better option."

When Chelsea played the Champions League final, you were, of course, at the stadium to watch the match and support the team.
Seeing them eventually win it, and seeing Andreas so happy, made it the perfect night for you.
Andreas took you out onto the pitch to celebrate with him and the rest of the team, and after that back into the dressing room to continue the party there.
After celebrating with the team for a while, the two of you sat down on a bench in a corner of the dressing room, watching the rest of Andreas' teammates continue to dance around.
"So," you started, speaking to Andreas in Danish, "tell me about these guys. What are they like?"
You had been introduced to the Chelsea team, and had met some team members at different occasions, but most of them you didn't really know other than by name.
Andreas grinned, before answering you in Danish, too.
"Chilly is a joker, as are Timo and Mason." He pointed to his three teammates laughing loudly together. "Azpi is a real boss around here, but in a good way. Everyone loves him, but no one wants to be on the receiving end of one of his angry outbursts."
"He indeed looks like he can get very angry," you agreed, though nothing of any anger was visible in the Chelsea captain at the moment.
"And, you wouldn't say it right now, but Kepa usually is the quiet type." Andreas nodded towards the goalkeeper dancing and jumping around.
"And..." Andreas made to continue, but was interrupted by Ben appearing in front of you.
"What are you two lovebirds babbling about?" Ben smirked.
"I thought you spoke Danish?" Andreas joked, switching to English.
"Nah, it's a little rusty," Ben winked.
"Nice," Andreas laughed, "than we can gossip on without worry."

i love the expression of my (mostly male) friends where i have actual conversations about players and football in general and they look at me with shock, as if I was only watching for the hot players.
