see unfortunately I have this condition where if I am not explicitly told that I am a part of the ingroup then I will assume I must be part of the outgroup

the human body is an engineering marvel. I sneeze in bright light. if I dont get enough sunlight on my skin I get tired and sad and have to drink a lot of milk to fix it. standing too much hurts, but sitting too much also hurts. if I get a virus, my body will increase its temperature in an attempt to cook it, which also cooks my brain cells. toenails exist. I have to turn the radio down to see better when I drive. there are 17 genes dictating what my hair texture is, but it completely changes when the air is too humid. yawning is contagious. there are more species of bacteria living in my body than there are species of birds in the entire world. every few months I grievously injure my neck by "sleeping on it weird." it took seven million years of human evolution to form me, and now I'm afraid of phone calls.

idk but when i discover new books and music i’m just excited to be alive again. yes a bit dramatic but that’s how i feel when i discover them

You have always been a creative and passionate girl. And I don't know if you remember this, but when you were young, you had all these characters you would come up with. And you used to have these little shows for your mom and me, using the living room as a stage. I think my favorite was the blind farmer. She would stumble around, bumping into all these furniture, yelling, "Has anyone seen a brown cow?" But in middle school, you had a brief affair with theater, and you were really into drama. But no more blind farmers. It had to be serious. Preferably life or death. But as a teenager, you became an activist and you developed a strong passion for gun control, which you got so serious i had to pick you up from the police one time for egging Walmart employees for selling weapons. It was obvious it came from your big heart, but I have to admit, I think part of it was about you rebelling against your dad too. You know, the dad who works in the military and happens to own a rifle. The same rifle which mysteriously disappeared right around that time. You remember that? Wasn't that a wild coincidence?

it’s actually concerning how disconnected many people (*cough* americans) are from the food they eat. “tfw you’re eating an egg and you remember that it’s an egg 🤢” what did you think it was before you “remembered”???? “ewww i could never buy/eat meat with the head still attached 😧” what difference does it make??? where do you think the pre-sliced grocery store stuff comes from if not a whole animal with a head???? “just thought about where milk comes from 😖” what are you on about man!! it’s milk!!! where else pray tell would it have come from!!!! can anyone hear me!!! hello!!!!

^PREV YEUUUP, it is soooo so fucking annoying when people view eating an animal as showing a lack of respect for that animal. like… idk about y’all, but i have immense love and respect for everything in the food chain 🤷 none of us would exist without the others. eating is a morally neutral action and i am tiiiiired of people treating it like it’s not. you can love an animal, respect an animal, and eat that animal. that’s part of being a social omnivore babeyyy
