Paper-cut art to decorate my white walls :-) September 2016
This is my first work created during an art club meeting!! Drawin' on the Lawn was a huge hit- everyone involved was wonderful company, and we had a great time creating together!! I'm excited to see what we do next!!
A quick painting of my favorite flowers, done with help from my new mediums❤️ I didn’t go too crazy with them cuz I’m not sure yet “how much is too much”- and I like to conserve. But a little texture can go a long way.
Looks great. Don’t forget a varnish on top.
Thank you so much! I’ve never used a varnish… Do you have any recommendations?
Crystal clear by krylon is really the best. Oils or acrylic?
Ty, I'll check it out. Does that work for both mediums? This is acrylic, but I'd love to try painting with oils eventually.
A place of my childhood.. The aging rock steps alongside my grandma's home. Painted in open air while chatting with my sister.

I finally caved and invested in the sample box of Golden acrylic mediums... Here's a chart I made to explore each of them :-)
A quick color study of the sky. Things are looking up. Acrylic on canvas
Final piece in the AP Studio chapter of my life. This is a scene in Williamsburg. Acrylic on canvas
Roadside Can you tell I'm cramming for AP? Lol

"Fly Aways"… Oil pastel For some reason this is kinda popular amongst the FB crowd… Which I kinda expected, Cuz this is standard cutesy and rainbow flower butterfly vom … Ergh I don’t really like it though. I didn’t put soul into it. But I guess people don’t care about that 😅
What I was thinking while I was working this was how my elementary school put in a butterfly garden when I was maybe 7 y/o.. The bricks were laid in the shape of a butterfly and there were specific flowers which were planted to attract butterflies. I guess that's a little soul. At least it has a story

This is a self portrait paper cut I finished recently. I was really inspired to work with paper after I learned about polish paper cutting a few years back... My polish heritage is something I'm proud of. I think this turned out very nice 😊
