#10 crochet thread, 1.5mm hook, RIT dye. Made some attempted tweaks since the author's reddit posts suggest that as written, the outer small bees were distorting the mesh to the point where it needed extremely aggressive blocking to get the edges straight. It's still not perfect, but admittedly I unpinned mine before it was fully dry because my bastard cat kept messing with it.
