Jieun jumped off her bed as she heard the knock on the door. Hearing his question, she chuckled lightly leaning in as he kissed her on the lips. “But of course. Though, not right next to the door. Just sitting over here on the bed. This room is so small anyways.” She didn’t know why she was rambling and bothering to explain, so she stopped talking and listened to his next comments. “Aw, thank you. My mom gave it to me when we were in Seoul this weekend.” She twirled around in the dress, only letting his hand go briefly so that she could turn 360 degrees. After doing so, she closed the door, and took his hand in hers again.

She kept a smile on her face as they continued to walk, both quiet at first. Even though some couples would find it awkward to just walk without talking, it was just being in the presence of one another that she loved. After all, they were clearly comfortable enough without needing the atmosphere to be always noisy. She looked up at him, noticing the goofy smile on his face. Raising her hand to poke his cheek, she laughed a little before looking down, her cheeks obviously turning a little rosy. Hearing his question, she looked up at him again, leaning closer towards him. “It was good, but obviously, looking forward more to tonight than having classes all day. How was yours?” She asked, the cheeriness in her voice more apparent now. When he mentioned fireworks, she stared at him, smiling so widely her eyes were getting smaller. “Jinjjia? Where? Yay!” She let go of his hand to clap her hands together. The word fireworks made her act like a kid all over again, as she remembered all the years that their two families would watch the fireworks together. “You always know what I love.”

Sanghyun smiled watching her turning around, nodding as she explained where the dress came from. He had to control a small laugh to come when heard it though, remembering about both mothers trying to help him with that day. It wasn't something he could just plan by himself, even though he would like to. Even though he was extremely talktive with Jieun, he was still the same quiet guy who wouldn't know how to please a girl. Well, with the six years together, though, he had just learned it slowly, how to keep her attention, what and when she would be annoyed about something and what he could do to calm her down. All those things he already knew, though, but just only after both getting together started making sense, as they got more connected somehow.

"My day was boring, to be honest", he laughed, letting her hand go as soon as she did, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "Looking forward tonight as well, though", he nodded, smiling when seeing her happiness about what he had planned, even though that was just part of it. "Of course I know", he rolled his eyes, chuckling and poking her side playfully. "It's a secret, you'll see after we eat something and see some people next the lake and then we can go over there", Sanghyun suggested, kissing the side of her forehead as they kept walking.

Getting next to the lake, most of the students -- to not say all of them -- were around, talking, playing around as much as they could considering that date was once in a year. Sanghyun guided Jieun around, greeting some of their friends.

It was another week of school. After this last weekend, the last place Jieun really wanted to be was back in Kyungnam again. The one thing that she hated about going home was having to come back to school, as all she could think about was the next time that she would be back in Seoul. At least she would be seeing Sanghyun again tonight, which was the only thing getting her through the day.

It wasn’t a cold day, so she opted for a polka dot dress with boots. She also grabbed a cardigan as she knew it would grow chillier in the evening, and she hated being cold. Obviously, she had no idea what was going to be happening that night. As she finished getting ready, she heard her cell phone ring with the ID reading “Doongie ♥”. “Hiya!” she exclaimed, smiling as his voice sounded on the other end. She nodded at first, but then realized that he wouldn’t know that she was doing so. Chuckling a little, she began to speak, “Ne, would that be okay?” She took a look around the dorm room making sure that she didn’t forget anything. “You can come whenever since I’m done. Mmm…see ya.” She set her phone in her small purse and sat on her bed to wait for Sanghyun to arrive.

As Sanghyun placed his phone on his back pocket, he started walking towards Hallym Hall, the girls' dorm. The whole place around was kind empty, probably because of the fact everyone where next to the lake, where what we'd be calling party was happening. There would have lots of students around there, food, drinks -- not alcoholic, obviously --, everything to wait for the the moment the fireworks would start. Getting into the hall, Sanghyun guided himself to her door's room, knocking it lightly and watching her opening it right after. "Wow, were you waiting next to the door?", he joked, laughing quietly as leaned in to peck her lips, grabbing her hand. He looked at her clothes, smiling at it as nodded. "You're adorable as always on this kind of dress", he chuckled, kissing her forehead before letting her close and lock her door.

Pulling her with him as he walked outside again, Sanghyun could feel himself getting a bit nervous again. He tried, for a small second at least, forget about it, knowing everything would work and he could just calm himself down. He looked at her beside him as they walked together, making their way to the lake area, opening a smile at her. "How was your day?", he decided to ask. He knew she was already missing Seoul, as it would always be when they would go there for a weekend or so. He kind missed it too, obviously, being with his family were better than being into the school, but he also got used to Kyungnam anyways. Plus, he also knew he was never that comfortable on being a couple around their families. It was just too awkward. When they were into the campus things seemed a bit easier at his point of view. "Also, I found a good place to watch the fireworks", Sanghyun remarked, seeing her opening a smile back at him. "What? I know you like them, so I tried to find somewhere we could watch together without anyone else", he nodded, kissing her cheek and chuckling.

That moment when neither the admins have much time to stay online. I'M SORRY EVERYONE. I just wanted to say we're kind busy with school stuff -- in our country november is like, the last chance to get good grades, to apply to universities and this kind of thing 'cause it's our "second semester". We'll be getting more online starting from next week (me) and the other one (eunji). I'll also do my best with replies and to fix Kyungnam asap! Thank all of you for remaining with us even with our inactivity, but that will change soon 'cause we'll have lots of time to rp, ne? Thank you for understanding!

PS: not putting under read more 'cause I want you guys to read LOL. And all the people I have to reply (I think it's just Kris, though), I'll be doing as soon as possible, I need to recover my muse, tbqh. And starters/replies on Inguk shall come next week when I'll finally be free of everything, yep. Then I'll annoy you guys with my both characters to plot, mhm ^^

Nervous was probably the best word to describe the guy at that very moment. Looking at the ring he had bought a couple weeks before that day, Sanghyun kept his lips pressed against the other in a thin line. He had no idea how he would do it, the only thing he knew it was it needed to be today. First, because he did want to do that into Kyungnam's campus -- once it was there that their relationship started, even though they know each other since ever --, second, because it wasn't always they would have something special on campus to do that kind of thing, and he didn't want to make it too big either. He was kind simple, after all, even though he praised the smallest things, like the moments they would just be together to watch something together, for big events like that one, he didn't know how he would plan if it wasn't the school's anniversary. Well, besides that, there was a reason why he had chosen that date: they would have fireworks. He could still remember how she loved them, how she would love the countdowns for the new year only to see them. And obviously, he had found a place not that crowded to watch them, a place where he would be able to propose her without anyone else actually see... The last thing he actually wanted was a crowd, after all, he was too shy to do those things in front of others.

Closing the little box with the ring and putting it into his jeans' pocket, Sanghyun finished getting dressed, on putting only his leather black jacket over the grey shirt he was wearing. His clothes remained almost as classic as he would use if it was just a normal day to hang out with her. After all, it was a surprise, if she suspected on anything, there would have no fun on it. He grabbed his phone and wallet from the bed, already making his way out of his own room, closing and locking the door behind him as left went downstairs and left the Hansung Hall, stopping by there as dialed Jieun's number and placed the phone on his ear. "Hey", he smiled as she picked it up, rubbing his neck nervously. "I'm leaving the dorm now. Do you want me to wait in front of yours or...?", he waited for her answer, agreeing with it and smiling. "Arasseo. See you soon", he hung up, putting the phone on his back pocket.

Jieun held on tightly to him. “In that case, I refuse to allow you to go anywhere. I’ll help you with the job hunt, even though I’m sure Kyungnam will probably love to hire you as one of their professors. Good-looking and smart. Where else do they find someone like that?” She chuckled, feeling her sad thoughts subsiding. 

“Araesso,” she sadly gave in, though she knew that it was better for him to go so as to not get in trouble. Despite the fact that it was rare for the students to ever get caught, she and Sanghyun both were pretty good at sticking with the rules and played it safe. “Mmhm. I can sleep for the next twenty hours for sure.” She was so tired that she really did wish that she had that long to sleep. Alas, it would probably be more along the lines of ten if she was lucky. Eight seemed more realistic. Nodding, she took his hand in hers and walked to the door with him. She leaned in to meet his lips, kissing him one last time before he had to leave. “Good night Doongie. I love you, too.” She rested a hand on his cheek before tapping his shoulder and stepping back. Letting him go, she waved until he was out of sight before closing the door. Less than four months until the wedding. Part of her wondered how everything would get done in that time, while the other part of her wondered how it could still be so far away. “No, no more thoughts about the wedding,” she told herself, dragging herself upstairs to get ready for bed.

A smile formed on her face even though she felt a little bad that, in a sense, she was holding him back from whatever other plans he could be doing after graduation. “Mmm…araesso. Though if you feel like you need to go somewhere else to work, I won’t stop you, alright? Just be sure to always tell me what you want okay?” She tried her best to not feel sad at the thought if he did ever choose to leave before she was done with school and preoccupied herself with playing with his hair.

She nodded as she listened, making a note about making sure she became a substitute and reminded herself to run for President. Chuckling, she remarked, “I hope so. As long as the students don’t hate me too much.” Even though she said that jokingly, she really did hope that people liked her. There wasn’t much reason for them not to. 

Feeling his hand on her shoulders massaging them, she grinned. “That feels so nice right now.” After she felt his lips meet her cheek, she turned around, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him in to kiss him. “Do you have to leave tonight?” She pleaded, giving him a pouty look, though knowing that he could get into trouble if he didn’t.

He couldn't help a light laugh to sound, as he shook his head. "Do you really think I'll leave to work before you being able to go with me?", he raised one of his eyebrows as asked, poking her cheek. "Silly you, I don't have a problem on holding myself a year, jagi. I'll try to find something here in Incheon, I'm sure I can find something here", he smiled at her, trying to calm her as noticed she was really getting sad with the thought.

Sanghyun smiled as watched her turning around, leaning his hands on the table behind her as kissed her back, placing one of his hands on her waist. "Mhm", he muttered, chuckling as saw her pouty face, and pinching her both cheeks lightly. "We'll have more time for each other this week anyways", he smiled, pecking her lips a few more times. "If I could stay I would, but I think we should save the few days I can escape for weekends, ne?", he smiled, kissing her forehead and wrapping his arms around her. "You'll rest now, are you hearing me? No more works, wedding plans, future plans, nothing. You'll lay down and sleep", he said serious, but laughing at the end. "Will you take me to the door?", he smiled, grabbing her hand as both of them made their way to her apartment's door, which he opened and stepped outside, turning to see her again and leaning in to kiss her gently one last time before really going. "Have a good night, arasso? I love you", he remarked, letting her hand go as started walking on the hallway and going downstairs. He left the building, crossing his arms on his chest as felt the cold breeze outside and made his way back to his dorm, looking at his watch to make sure he wasn't late on the curfew.

Jieun chuckled but shrugged at the same time. “I guess it wouldn’t make sense for me to graduate early since most of my friends have one more year anyways. I just hope that it won’t affect your plans for next year is all.” She frowned, knowing that if she were done, they could possibly move back to Seoul or something and be closer to their families.

“I know, I know. I just feel bad choosing which ones to keep. How did you cut out the things from Junior Year to Senior Year?” She remembered that he too was involved with a lot of activities that he had dropped in his final year. “I guess I’ll drop Swim since I don’t feel as connected with it to begin with. Maybe Dance since you won’t be in it anymore. That just leaves Cheer and teaching, which shouldn’t be too bad, right? How is being a substitute? Is it a ton of work?” She suddenly had a lot of questions, not even sure why she was thinking so far in advance, though she felt like she needed to get that settled. “Sorry, I don’t mean to trouble you with such trivial things, but I suddenly decided that since we’ve been so productive that I might as well throw this in too. Oh shoot, I forgot about the clubs too. I think I’d like to see if I can be President for Student Council next year. Choir and Journalism will stay, and Photography…hm…I might drop that and just take things for fun. Whew. I’m running out of breath just listing all these things out.” She seriously couldn’t believe that she thought she would be capable enough to take on all of these activities. Definitely an overachiever.

He laughed calmly, shaking his head as patted her hand. "Ani. I didn't plan anything to after graduating because I knew you'd not", he explained, tilting his head. "I'll stay here with you till you graduate anyways, Jieun, so really, after you graduate, then we can start planning the future", Sanghyun smiled as thought about it, leaning his chin on his palm as heard her listing all the things.

"I took off the ones I didn't like that much", he shrugged, remembering how his schedule was a way worse that time, as busy as hers now, but he had to take off because it was last year and he wanted to be a substitute teacher, that would require more time from him. "It's easier than being a T.A, to be honest", Sanghyun chuckled, comparing the times he was one to now. "Even though a T.A has more time to do other things, like you for example, leaving the high school building hours before me and all, you work a lot during the whole time you're there. As a substitute teacher, you just help the teacher on more interesting stuff, like correcting tests, helping her if she needs your help and assuming some classes if something happens to her. I don't know, I get less tired than I got when I was on your shoes", he smiled. "And I'm sure you'll take the President spot, considering you're already the vice, Jieunie", he shrugged, as it was already expected.

Sanghyun stood up, taking their plates and placing it on the sink as put the ice cream on the freezer and the cake on the frigde, standing behind her right after. "Come on, miss I-have-a-busy-schedule, we can finishing solving later. It's getting late and I know you're tired", he chuckled, placing his hands on her shoulders as they walked, massaging them and her neck gently for a while before trying to look at her and lean in, kissing her cheek. "Even though I actually think you already solved it", he whispered on her ear, taking her hand and helping her to get up.

Nodding, Jieun laughed and teased him. “Such a fat kid. Just kidding. I’m eating both too.” She smiled happily as she handed him the desserts. “You’re welcome.” She leaned in and gave him a light peck on the lips. 

She shrugged, unsure of how to answer his question. “I don’t know. Obviously, things won’t change until after you graduate, but I’m already overwhelmed as it is and I’m not as happy doing everything as I used to be. I want to have time for the people in my life.” Stabbing at her cake, she scooped some of the ice cream along with it. “I still can’t believe you’re graduating. I should just graduate early.” Well, it was a little too late to do that as she wouldn’t have all her credits done in time. “You’re a good guy, Doongie, but like I said, I just hate being so busy.” She pouted and looked down at her cake, continuing to stab at it. “I don’t even know….”

He nodded, knowing what she meant. Sanghyun also hated being so busy, it seemed like they barely had time for each other, to not mention their friends, who they obviously would have to make time for. "I know, I know", he tried to smile, comforting her. "And, well, we should had planned that better, shouldn't we?", he laughed softly as she mentioned about graduating as well.

Sanghyun finished eating his dessert, only taking another piece of cake. "So you should make sure the way you want your schedule, baby", he shrugged lightly, chewing as looked at her. It was always funny how he would easily call her different names and still not sound too clingy. Probably because Sanghyun actually hated couple nicknames, he always like the traditional ones and without being in excess. "You do have many things on your schedule... To not mention how your co-captain in two different sports, which put more responsability on your shoulders... Maybe you could start changing those?", he suggested, pouting and finishing his cake a few minutes later, stroking her hand which was on the table quietly. "Well, I'll try my best to not come with a busy schedule next year", he nodded, smiling at her. "If you need help on re-making your schedule, you could always talk to your friends too, ne? After all they are in a lot of the same classes and sports as you're, they can help you to decide".

Jieun chuckled and looked up at him. Nodding, she remarked, “Yeah. I mean, it’s nothing fancy, but I have ice cream and picked up some cake earlier.” She got up out of her seat and headed for the kitchen, only looking back to see if he was following her. Opening up the fridge, she pulled out the cake and then the ice cream from the freezer. “You want both? Or one or the other?” Either way, she got out some plates, bowls, spoons, and forks for both of them. 

Taking a seat, she began to scoop out ice cream and cake for herself, waiting for his final answer before setting out what he wanted. Once that was all settled, she put everything back into their respective places. “So, I was thinking about how things will change once we’re married. I don’t think I can handle all the things I’m doing now, but I don’t know what to not do anymore.” That was the one thing she was kind of sad about - having to give up something that she loved.

Standing up, Sanghyu followed her back to the kitchen, taking his seat as watched her taking everything she needed. "Both", he smiled at her, leaning his arms on the table as waited for her to hand the plate  towards him. "Thank you, jagi", he kept with the smile on his face as took a bite on the cake. Getting into a comfortable silence for a while as they were eating, Sanghyun looked up at her as heard her talking again.

"Why?", he raised his eyebrows, chewing his cake quietly. "I mean...", he licked his lips before start saying his point of view. "I don't think much would change. At leats you want it to change?", he tilted his head lightly, rubbing his neck. "Because, I don't know, in the beginning the only thing that would still be a bit hard would have time for us, but we'd be living together at that point... And... It'd be just a few months before my graduation. My schedule will be more free from then on, 'cause I'd either continue teaching on the high school or get a job as a composer, but I'll still be living here with you anyways", he shrugged, pouting. "And you know I'll help you with the apartment and all, it's not like I'll make you doing this kind of thing if you have a busier schedule than mine", he smiled, taking another piece of cake and a spoon of ice cream.

Jieun was surprised that in all the years that she had known Sanghyun’s sister, never once did it really occur to her to ask her what she did for a living or for fun. In a way, it made her sad, and she hoped that when they became sisters-in-law, she would get to know the other girl a bit better. “Maybe we can have her design the layout of how things will go. We can go take pictures of the setting and have her figure out how to design it? Is that what you mean, umma? The outfits might be a little difficult since we’ll have to try it on and stuff, but that’s fun. I’ll have Eunji and the other girls help me with that.”

She laughed as Sanghyun pulled himself away from the conversation. “Aish, such a boy,” she teased. However, in the end, she allowed her mother to do the printing of the invitations, which allowed for one more thing off the to-do list. “Araesso, I think we’ve covered quite a bit of ground tonight. I’m hungry again,” she chuckled before adding, “We’re going to go now, alright? Bye bye!” She waved at the two older women before hanging up and closing her laptop. “Well, that was productive,” she remarked, turning to smile at Sanghyun before laying her head on his shoulder. “Want dessert?”

Nodding in agreement as watched his mother doing the same, Sanghyun looked at Jieun. "Sure, I will try to send her an e-mail and I think she will like to help with that", he smiled, watching them finishing to plan what was missing now. About the outfits, he limited on nodding as already planned on dragging Kris or Kyuhyun, or both, wanting them or not. "Annyeong", he smiled to both of their mother as waved his hand and watched his girlfriend closing her laptop. He took it and placed it on the coffee table as looked at her, chuckling. "Yes, it was", he agreed, nodding and wrapping his arm around her shoulders. He stayed quiet for a bit, only thinking what else he could do or help about it, but it seemed that things were finally working now. "Dessert?", he smiled, lifting his head. "What do we have for dessert?", he asked, pouting. He loved being caught on surprise, and she knew that. Plus the only times they literally had dessert after dinner was when they were on their parents house, always spoiled by the two women they were just talking.

Jieun felt more and more relieved as the conversation continued. It seemed that the venue should be rather easy to take care of. “Umma, can you just call the church tomorrow and let me know what happens?” With that down, she also felt that having their mothers do the cooking would also be the best plan since obviously, they knew what they liked and what their guests would most likely want to have as well. “And would you two mind doing the cooking? I know Sanghyun and I would probably like the food more if we entrusted you two to take care of it.” She looked over at Sanghyun to make sure that he was in agreement with all that she was saying. As of now, it seemed like things were good, and she knew he would interrupt if he wanted them some other way.

As he jokingly teased her about abusing him, she suddenly had the urge to kiss him, thinking that perhaps she still wanted to get back at him for what he did earlier today. Leaning in, she kissed him on the cheek where she had just “hurt” him. “Omo, our kids are so cute.” Both mothers squealed giddily, and she couldn’t help but laugh along. “Yah. That’s what you get for being mean to me, too.” 

She nodded in agreement with his suggestion for the fourth girl on her side. “I think that’ll be good. I know your dongsaeng won’t be happy if I didn’t pick her.” After all, Jieun was probably closer with her than her own sister, even though she obviously loved her older sister very much. She could probably make some other deal with her. In fact, her unnie was quite good at doing make-up and hair, so perhaps she’d have her be her hair and make-up artist instead.

“Oh, I just had the thought that I could have unnie be my hair and make-up artist. I feel bad that your noona doesn’t really have a role, though.” She frowned, hoping that the older girl wouldn’t feel left out. However, as his sister had left for Kyungnam when they were still rather young, Jieun didn’t have too many close memories with the older girl. 

“Okay, so venue, food, wedding party…check. Photographer? Dress shopping? Floral stuff? Invitations? When should we start sending those out?” She had a feeling that this last part wouldn’t be the tough part, as the first three things they settled were probably the most important. Well, the dress was important, but it was a matter of just going out to the store. Invitations were probably something her mother could take care of. “Umma, can you do the invitations? Maybe Sanghyun and I can pick out a design and you can get them printed? Hm…what else?” Her mind suddenly went blank, so she turned to the others to see if they had anything else to say in the meantime.

Sanghyun kept nodding as they talked about their mothers doing the cooking. After all, who knew them better but the ones who raised them, right? The fact of both familias being connected only helped even more, 'cause Sanghyun's mother would know what Jieun liked as easy as her own mom, and the same with Jieun's mom with Sanghyun. It was even a bit hard to tell when one family ended and the other started, and they were technically building something like a bridge between the Lee and the Park with their marriage.

He kept distracted, laughing because of the older women talk, being surprised by Jieun's sudden kiss on his cheek. Sanghyun stopped laughing at the same time, looking at her and hearing their mothers literally fangirling on them as he felt his cheeks getting warm. "Y-yah!", he tried to complain, but knew it wouldn't change in nothing. It was clear how she was getting back because of what he did earlier, even though he wasn't sure if she would assume.

Puffing his cheeks like a kid, still hearing to their talk, Sanghyun nodded as they talked about the wedding party and the ones that would be on each one's side and getting something else for her sister to do. Thinking about his noona, even though he was pretty close of her, he knew Jieun never really had the chance to do the same. He scratched his head as looked at his mom through the screen of the laptop. "I don't think noona will be upset... But maybe we can put her to do something to? What do you think, umma? I think even though she will not be mad because of it, she will use the fact I didn't let her doing anything for the wedding for the rest of my life", he chuckled nervously, pouting. "Ah... You guys know she is really good with decoration, right? She works with it", Mrs. Park said, tilting her head. "Maybe you guys could ask her to do the decoration or help you guys with the outfits considering she lives in Incheon?". Sanghyun looked at Jieun as asking what she think about it before they change the topic.

As Jieun talked about invitations, Sanghyun leaned his head on his own palm, nodding as the three of them looked at him waiting for a reaction from his part. "Well, about flowers and such, I think you guys don't need my opinion 'cause I don't have any idea about it", he said suddenly, laughing softly.

Jieun nodded, the idea of an outdoor wedding sounding more appealing, as long as the weather was helpful. “How about this?  We can talk to the church and see if we can use their outdoor space. I know an area that’s really pretty with a gazebo and stuff, but if it rains or if the date gets closer and we find out it’ll be cold, we can ask them if we can move it indoors. Do you think that would work?” She looked at all three faces, her mother shrugging and nodding along with Sanghyun’s mom. “Sanghyun?” 

His next comment made her laugh and jokingly, she pushed his cheek, turning his face away from them. “Yah, I already said I will cook for you more once we’re married. I don’t feel obligated to at the moment,” she teased, their mothers cracking up at the two of them. “Like mother, like daughter,” Sanghyun’s mom added, causing all four of them to burst out into laughter once again.

“Alright, so three on your side. That’s fine. The only problem is that I have too many and it’ll look uneven. Shall I limit someone on my side? Oh, don’t forget Inguk oppa.” Even though she knew that Sanghyun wasn’t that close to Inguk, she couldn’t bear the thought of leaving him out of the party. “Is that okay?” She linked her arm around his and holding his hand, though still out of sight from the webcam.

"Sounds good", he nodded in agreement, thinking it could be possible for them to plan that, and also easier, considering they would have both options on their hands. He laughed, but kept making a painful face, rubbing his cheek as looked at their mothers. "Aish, look at her, so agressive before marrying me", he remarked, looking at her as stuck his tongue out. With his mom's remark, he burst into a laugh, knowing that was actually true considering Jieun and her mother were pretty alike.

He held her hand rubbing his thumb on it as looked at her and nodded. "Sure, Inguk hyung can be on my side", he agreed, smiling brightly at her. "In this case, you could limit your side for just four girls, Jieun-ah. Eunji, Hyorin, Yoona... Choose the fourth one", he counted as thought on what was her options. "I'd tell you to choose my dongsaeng, though, considering there are your brother and cousin on my side and more to balance the families on each other's side?", he scratched his head, not sure about what she would think about it.

Jieun still couldn’t believe the fight that they had. It really was the first time that she had ever heard Sanghyun yell and get so mad at her. Thankfully, they had discovered that they could get over that, and now she was absolutely certain that they could get through anything in the future. She chuckled as she watched his expression when waving to their mothers. He always became so happy when he saw his mother.

She scoffed at him, crossing her arms jokingly. Poking his side, she turned back to look at the screen. “Oh right. Yeah, so venues. Either the church, outside the church, in the courtyard of a hotel?” She raised her eyebrows, trying to determine which of the ideas the two women would opt for. “I like the church idea,” her own mother remarked, while Sanghyun’s mother liked the idea of having the wedding outdoors. “Aish, this is complicated. Too many opinions.” Jieun puffed out her cheeks, poking it while she thought. “Do you guys think it will be too cold in March? If not, we can definitely consider an outdoor wedding….” She turned from the screen and then to Sanghyun, trying to get an idea of which way they were leaning.

“As for caterers, well, I guess I’ll have to do some research on that, unless ummas want to cook?” She didn’t think their parents would want to cook for such a large crowd, but she knew that both she and Sanghyun loved both of their mothers’ cooking and wouldn’t turn down that idea if they agreed to it. “We could consider that,” her mother finally remarked. “At least there are two of us, and obviously, our cooking would be special for all of us. Sanghyun, would you like us to cook? Or would you rather have it professionally catered?” She waited for Sanghyun to give an answer before she moved on to the next topic.

“Now, the wedding party. I would love to have all my closest friends and family to be my bridesmaids, but I have a feeling that if I do that, no one will sit in the audience.” She had to laugh, knowing that that wasn’t far from the truth. “Out of my girl friends, I think I have to choose Eunji, Hyorin, and Yoona. But then there’s unnie and Sanghyun’s sisters…” Honestly, that was what would be her most difficult decision. “Sanghyun, who are you including on your side?”

Both of them kept talking to their mothers, trying to get as much as they could. Sanghyun stopped to think about the weather at that point of March and puffed his cheeks. "I don't think it'll be extremely cold", he remarked, scratching his head. "I think it'll be already warming up considering it'll be almost spring?", he trailed his voice not sure about it. Most of the talk between the three women -- their mothers and Jieun -- sounded so girly he didn't know exactly what and when to make a comment, so deciding to just wait when they asked for his opinion.

As their mothers were reading his mind -- or reactions -- they asked him for him opinion about the cooking, making him smile lightly. "You know I'm a big fan of ummas' cooking", Sanghyun remarked, looking at Jieun before turning to the screen again. "Like I like someone's cooking as well, you know, but she doesn't have time to cook for me", he teased, playfully, pointing to his girlfriend beside him as looked at their mothers laughing at how childish he was.

Changing for the next topic, Sanghyun already started puffing his cheeks, predicting the question to come anytime soon. "Hm... There is Kris, Kyuhyun hyung and your brother, I guess", he scratched his head. "I didn't think much on it, but considering the three of them are the closes "guy" friends I have, I think it need to be them", he shrugged, chewing his lower lip.

Jieun nodded. “Well, that church isn’t really old-fashioned looking or anything. It’s really modern actually. Plus, I don’t think we’ll have too many people, so I don’t need like a whole stadium.” She couldn’t help but laugh at the stadium idea, not that that would even be a possibility. She didn’t know why she had thought of a stadium, perhaps because he had suggested that the wedding was big. “Where else do people hold weddings?” She looked up at him, only thinking of the beach as another possibility, but it would be way too cold in her opinion, and frankly, getting sand all over her didn’t sound terribly romantic.

She smiled and held onto his hand as they made their way over to the couch. Her laptop was already sitting on the coffee table, so she picked it up and turned it off of its hibernating mode. Clicking the Skype icon, she watched is it bounced up and down on her dash, indicating that it was loading. 

As she waited for it to start up, she turned towards him, his pouty face looking absolutely adorable to her. She rested her head against his shoulder and nodded. “I won’t ever let you forget that.” She lifted her head and pressed her lips against his. “Trust me, I doubt that will be the last time we ever fight, but I promise I won’t ever stop loving you, ne?” She placed her hand on his lap and patted it. “How I lasted a week is beyond me.”

She noticed that her mom was online and clicked on the “Call” button. Though she wanted to stay the way she was, it still weirded her out a little being overly couple-y in front of her parents so she shifted her head so that she was looking at the computer directly. She also moved the laptop so that half of it was on Sanghyun’s leg and the other half on hers. Suddenly, she heard the sound of her mother’s voice on the other end. “Jieunie. Oh, Sanghyun’s here too!!!” Jieun watched as her mother waved someone over, no doubt Sanghyun’s mother was in the apartment as well. The two families were probably having dinner together. “Umma!” She exclaimed, waving to both women. “We wanted to call you to ask some things about the wedding. Can you help us?” 

She watched as both women’s eyes lit up at the sound of planning a wedding. “Omo, Jieunie, we were waiting for you to ask us. Umma was getting worried you didn’t want us to help.” She turned to look at Sanghyun and almost burst out laughing. “We’re just trying to decide on a venue and figure out wedding parties for now. That’s probably the easiest things we can settle at the moment.” She turned around at Sanghyun again. “What else did we say we needed?”

Sanghyun nodded at her remark, puffing his cheeks. "I know this won't be the last time we have a fight, but it was the first one I literally yelled at you", he shrugged lightly, sighing. But he was in fact about to explode, and there wasn't any other way to be at that moment considering how could they were towards each other. "And hopefully we won't be like a week avoiding each other again", he nodded. He laughed softly as both of them sat straight, keeping the laptop on their legs as she made the call to her mother. "Annyeong Umma", Sanghyun smiled, waving to his own mother and also Jieun's. As always... The two of them were on the same place. He would never ever get surprised because of it considering his whole childhood seeing that happening. He admired their friendship though, which was thanks to them that now their child would keep the family completely united.

He watched her talking to them, nodding sometimes in agreement and laughing when he saw the older reaction on her asking for help. "See, I told you", he pointed, sticking his tongue out at her. "Hm... Caterers... Outfits...", he listed, trying to remember what else she told him. "Hm, I guess that's all. Do ummas have any venue to suggest? 'Cause we're kind opting for the church already", Sanghyun smiled, watching the olders reactions.

Jieun chuckled a little and nodded in agreement. “A vacation sounds so good right now.”  Just some time to get away and not think about all her commitments would be so nice. “You know, in the U.S. they have Thanksgiving next week, which means a long weekend. I wish we had that right now too.” She sighed, the thought of having so much to do making her lose her appetite. 

“Yes, let’s please before I lose my mind completely.” She knew if she talked to her parents earlier, then all her problems wouldn’t have built up the way they did. However, she was hardheaded at times and wanted to do everything on her own. Asking for help wasn’t exactly her forte unless she was absolutely desperate, which she definitely was at this point. “That works. What kind of venue should we hold it at? Actually, I think the easiest would be is to just see if the church we go to has an opening that day. Otherwise, where else do they hold weddings?” She scratched her head, unsure of exactly what possibilities were available to begin with. “I think I have a good idea of who I want on my side of the wedding party, but what about you?” 

She couldn’t help but laugh lightly at his comment. “Yah, I don’t have time to cook everyday. I just felt bad so I cooked today.” As much as she loved cooking for the both of them, time was always the problem. “I’ll be sure to not load myself up on so many activities next year,” she remarked before adding, “Then I can cook for you everyday. You’d like that wouldn’t you?” She chuckled lightly, standing next to him and then kissing his cheek.

Listening to her suggestion, Sanghyun turned himself a bit as still doing the dishes, looking at her. "Well, I guess we could make some research about it to make sure about the options we have?", he suggested, smiling as she suggested the church. "Well, I do agree with that... Though, I always though a girl's dream of a wedding was something big and... Well, not traditional", he chuckled, pecking her lips as finally finished cleaning everything taking the dish towel and drying his hands.

A smile opened on his face with her suggestion, making him think a bit before nodding. "Ok, I'll accept that option", Sanghyun agreed, placing the towel on the holder and taking her hand. "Let's go, let's try to talk to our moms", he smiled, dragging her around through her own place, but already well-known to him. He sat down on the couch as she took her laptop, watching her turning it on and placing his arm on the couch's back behind her neck.

Sanghyun looked at her for a while, pouting lightly as remembered how they had spent a week avoiding each other. How he was able to do that... Well, he didn't even know. He just felt clingy now, though, not being able to let her away, at least not while they were together that night and probably weekend. "Remember me of not yelling at you that way ever again, ok?", he suddenly said, catching her attention and smiling embarrassed. "I felt bad doing that and watching your reaction so yeah...", he sighed, placing his hand on the side of her face, stroking her cheek with his thumb. Sanghyun leaned on, gently kissing her, feeling better on how they were in good terms again. Letting his hand sliding to her neck, he pulled away slowly, pecking her lips softly and keeping his forehead on hers. "I love you, don't matter how stupid and rude I can ever be, but planning on ever being anymore", he smiled, kissing her nose and placing his chin on her shoulder as looked at the screen of the laptop and waited for them to connect with their mothers, who were probably already waiting for them.
