OMGGGGG !!!!! YES LET’S DISCUSS !!!! there is so much hate right now it’s making me sad 🥀 BUT IM REALLY ENJOYING IT SO FAR!!

okay my first thought was like wow everyone looks so good this season, idk what is in the air on that set but they all get hotter every season omgggg 🫦

the last episode was so good, i loveee the rockstar aesthetics. idrc about the band that much but the scene with them taking about the book was so good LMAOAK

lestat and daniel’s dynamic is SOOOO funny i am so excited for more of them 😭 i feel like we haven’t really gotten to see daniel be an asshole and pick lestat’s stories apart yet so i am super looking forward to that !! i think we get to see that in ep 3 (at least, from what i can tell in the teasers), so i cannot waitttt for sunday !!!! obsessed with lestat just being such a mess this season too, the scene with louis and the lawyers was too good.

speaking of louis, i am SOOOOO happy he’s in it more 😭😭😭 idk if you’ve read the books but he kinda disappears after iwtv, and he’s the reason i love the series so much so i was like 💔 BUT HE’S HEREEEEE !!!!!! louis & lestat back on my screen and more insane than everrrr 😛 i loveeddd the song in the last episode when he’s singing to louis, that’s been one of my favs so far.

im soooo excited armand’s gonna be in the next episode too 😌 i’m really curious what’s going on with the auction stuff at the beginning of the season & how this is all gonna play out. and i loooove armand & lestat’s dynamic, so i really hope we get to see a lot of them 🥹

BUT ALSO DANIEL & ARMAND !!!!! crumbs in the last episode but A MENTION !! IM ALSO REALLY EXCITED TO SEE THEM INTERACT AND FINALLY DISCUSS DANIEL’S TURNINGGGG.

my only critique atm is i was a little disappointed with some of the flashbacks, esp the wolfkiller scene 😔 it’s one of my fav things in the book, but i felt like they sped through it & the importance of it was kinda downplayed. i’m hoping it’ll be properly addressed at the beginning or next ep, but we’ll see! i have high expectations for how they handle lestat’s turning LMFAO so i hope i am not disappointed 💔🥀

overall i am loving it so far !!! im excited to see where they take it & how they put their own spin on things. the cast is doing such a phenomenal job 😛 and they all have such great chemistry so whoever interacts & whatever we get i’ll honestly be excited about bc i loveee exploring all the vampires’ different dynamics

wheww it’s been a while since i drew anything for iwtv/tvl! i’ve wanted to illustrate lestat’s wolf hunt scene from the book for ages now, but i knew it’d be really difficult so i put it off. honestly i’m still not at the skill level required to execute it the way i see it in my head…but i tried my best! :))
