So I looked a bit into Interspecies Reviewers, and I have a new self insert idea! I don't know everything about the series yet, so if I get any information wrong, I'll update this over time.
Her name is Melina, and she is a beastman (specifically a demihuman/kemonomimi), with a diverse lineage. Normally my monster girl self inserts are sheep girls, but I wanted to try making a rabbit girl self insert this time.
She has fair skin, reddish/coral-pink curly hair (that is around shoulder-length), and green eyes. While she looks like a normal rabbit beastman with ears and a tail, she comes from mixed generations of multiple races. These mostly include various beastmen (rabbit people, cat people, mouse people, dog people, and fox people, both demihuman and anthro), elves, fairies, and nature nymphs.
She grew up in a town without any succu-joints, and her upbringing is pretty virtuous, but still fairly open-minded. Because of this, she easily gets embarrassed about things like casual sex and talking about lewd things publicly. However, she is also secretly curious about being able to meet someone who she might like. She is a hopeless romantic who dreams of finding true love someday. She really loves "twinks" and pretty boys!
She is 100% submissive.

Hello! I wanted to see if I could find other yumeshippers/self shippers with similar interests.
Most of my F/O's are either antagonistic jerks or evil villains, including "problematic" or "toxic" ones who have done cruel things. And I also enjoy exploring darker themes and dynamics with my yumeships, with my self inserts purely consenting to them. However, I'm not into most horror or "edgy" media (with rare exceptions). ;w;
I mainly love series' with either "cute", cartoony, or colorful aesthetics! I'm a huge fan of Nintendo games, "RPGmaker" games, and a few other games like Classic Spyro, Bomberman, Cookie Run, Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, and Super Monkey Ball. I also love certain anime + manga, and certain cartoons.
I do love horror RPGs with a cutesy anime art style, and I'm also a big fan of high fantasy and "cottagecore" stories and universes.

Star Fox OC?

So I've recently been looking into Star Fox after I've been told about it before, and seeing the new remake during the Nintendo Direct. And now I have an idea for a new self insert!
She's likely either a Degu, a Bunny Rat, or a Viscacha. I wanted to choose a rodent for her species since there are already a few lagomorph characters in the series. Her name is either Mina or Mollie.
She has light red or reddish pink fur with white undersides, green eyes, and a long, light pink furry tail with a tuft at the end. For more natural fur colors, her main color would be almost the same as Katt's from Star Fox Zero instead of light red and light pink.
I was also inspired by Kirby Squeak Squad and Diddy Kong Racing when deciding that she would be a rodent, and I wanted it to be a homage to both games/series (Since they're both from or connected to Nintendo).
If she has a uniform like some of the other characters do, she'd wear an orange bodysuit, a white jacket, and dark pink boots (and possibly a dark pink scarf). She also wears two dark pink bows on each ear.
She's mainly a support character, and doesn't have much experience flying a ship herself. But she'd be willing to secretly help the Star Fox team if she'd be able to without being noticed.
I'd really want to see some of the other characters appear in the possible reboot of the series as well, I think that would be really cool! Except I don't really want the Dinosaur Planet characters to come back,,, I'm a Dinosaur Planet fan and I love the series, but I feel like both that and Star Fox should stay as their own separate IPs.

Honestly, the idea of making my self insert story for Class of 09 a lighthearted shoujo-esque or romcom-esque one about Maria hanging out with Jeffrey, Crispin, and possibly Kyle, feels cathartic and uplifting.
Instead of focusing on petty drama and causing trouble, the focus would be about friendship, happiness, and validating some of the guy characters.

I've mentioned yumeshipping for Aggrestuko before, and now I wanted to work more on a self insert!
I can't decide on a name yet (Maybe Muffie), but she's a sugar glider. She has light gray and white fur with dark gray face markings, and large green eyes. She wears a small pink bow on her head, a pink sweater with a white heart shape on it, light blue shorts, and pink or pastel colorful shoes with white socks. She's around the same height as Retsuko and Fenneko.
I was thinking that she works for a company in America that is affiliated with Carrier Man Trading Co., and she and some of the other workers travel to Japan for business reasons.
I'm also thinking that she has a tendency to date questionable people. I've listed two characters in my F/O List who are crushes, but I'm also considering two other characters who are antagonists in the series.
Parallel Universes/AUs?

I'm thinking that some of my fanfics could be in universes parallel to each other, sorta like their own small multiverses or various timelines. This way my stories for each fandom could still be their own individual things, while being connected to other stories and not omitting the crossover ideas completely.
Basically, some of my self inserts from different fandoms would be different versions or reincarnations of the same characters. And their relationships or stories from one universe would mirror or share similarities with their relationships or stories in another universe. Here are the connected universe ideas I have so far:

I've been thinking about this for some time now, and I think it's time for me to accept it.
So I still self ship with certain characters, they are very much my "types" and I had good memories making yumeship stories with them, but… I'm not really into the series' that they're from. Or I'll be temporarily interested in one series, and then start to lose interest over time.
It's mainly the aesthetics or tones of them that I'm not into. I just prefer different things, and I'm okay with that. I'll mainly be focusing on the series' that I do get invested in from now on.

So I recently learned about a game called Lovish, and I have an idea for another self insert!
Her name is Fresa or Fraisa, she she has darker reddish-pink curly hair that is around shoulder-length, fair skin, and green eyes. And she wears a light pink bow in her hair, a pink shirt, a light orange or light green skirt with white leggings underneath, white socks, and pink shoes.
She's mainly a traveler, who is exploring many parts of the world. Like my other self inserts, she's normally shy, but warms up quickly to those who are kind or friendly to her. But she's also short-tempered and gets angry at evil or hostility.
Despite this, she secretly likes arrogant or rude guys,,,
She is also not confident, and struggles with her self esteem.

I've been thinking of making a self insert for the Inuyasha series, but it's been hard for me to think of many ideas...
I don't think her being from the modern era would work, because I would be too young during the events of the story. I was thinking of my S/I being from the past instead, but she would be from another country, and it's still difficult for me to think of how she would travel to somewhere else.
I've also been thinking of making a self insert for Fullmetal Alchemist, and I think that would be a bit easier, since the series takes place in a fictional world. I was thinking she could be mostly one type of ethnicity, with a bit of a few other types as well, but I haven't decided on that yet.

So for my crossover AU which I talked about before, I decided to limit things and include fewer franchises: Nintendo (first party and a few second party series' only), Digimon, Crash Bandicoot, Classic Spyro, Classic Sonic (before Generations), Super Monkey Ball, Banjo & Kazooie, Super Bomberman R (Bomberman characters only), Cooking Mama, Mischief Makers (N64), and Glover (N64).
Again, I was inspired by other crossover series' while working on the lore of this crossover. This is contained in its own continuity, not connected to any other crossover stories.
The universe contains multiple worlds, for each video game series. While they normally exist separately from one another, there is a central hub of worlds where characters from all the series' can intermingle and interact; Where the kart racing games, board-style party games, sports games, other spinoff games, and the Mii games take place.
Instead of fighting being a primary focus, characters often form bonds through playing various minigames or competing in other competitions together. Fighting or battling is still possible, but that normally only happens when the heroes have to defeat the villains.
I don't have a definitive plot in mind for this AU yet, but like I said, there can be both simple spinoff-style stories and large adventures, where characters have to travel through the worlds to protect them from threats.
My self insert is a human or humanoid woman from a world closely connected to the central hub worlds. But when she visits other worlds, she has different forms based on each series; Basically my other self inserts for each game. (A few other characters can have different forms for each world too)

Tbh I didn't think that I would get into Class of 09 at all, but after learning more about it I wanted to make a self insert because of a few characters!

She loves video games, anime/manga, and other cartoons, and things that are considered very girly or feminine. She's mainly a Nintendo fan, but enjoys a few other series' as well. (She also loves Sanrio, Littlest Pet Shop, and My Little Pony.)
She actually hates most of the people from school, and is normally mean to them, if they choose to bother her. And she's also scared of them. However, she is nice to Jeffrey, Crispin, and Kyle, and genuinely loves to hang out with them and wants to make them happy. She would also be friends with Karen and Megan, but I'm not sure if they would hang out as much.
Because of her disdain for the others, she tends to be a loner who keeps to herself. She's very sensitive and a crybaby, and while she tries to hide it out of fear of others hurting her, it's hard for her to do so. She has low self esteem and can be very pessimistic.
Her cold weather outfits include light pink or light purple hoodies with white or light teal jeans (which are more fuzzy on the inside), while her warm weather outfits include light pink or black T-shirts with light teal or white jean shorts (with ribbons on them). She also wears pink or light purple running shoes, and one or two colorful hairclips.

I've been thinking about this for some time now, and I'm considering a crossover with: Danganronpa (+ Danganronpa Another), Doki Doki Literature Club, You and Me and Her/Totono, and Mix Ore? Not strictly following a plot from any of the games, but more of a "slice of life" style setting with all of the characters. I thought a crossover with those four series' would be interesting.

I want to try working on another Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss and PASWG crossover AU again, but since I self ship with characters who are either angels or demons, it's hard for me to decide what my self insert's dynamics with my faves could be. I wanted her to sign contracts with them, but I'm not sure how well the characters would get along with each other.
I also have a new self insert idea based on both my Hazbin/Helluva persona and my PASWG persona, though she looks a bit different this time; With light reddish pink skin, red curly hair, green eyes, white angel wings, and horns and a tail (with a heart shaped tip) that are the same color as her skin. She is insecure about being an angel-demon hybrid, but admires those who do good deeds and believe in others.

So it's now been around 10 years since I became a fan of the Okegom/Funamusea series. I remember when I first heard of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea, and I watched a Let's Play of it on Youtube. Around a year and a half or two years later, I became invested in the universe and its lore. I would try to make my own theories related to some questions I had, because I saw other people making theories for their favorite fandoms and it seemed like a lot of fun.
The series also helped reignite my interest for RPGmaker games (and games made in similar programs), and I've managed to get into various RPGmaker-style games as a result.

I've been thinking about it for a while, and to be honest, I think for self ships I'll be focusing on one fandom/series at a time, instead of making crossover AUs (With very rare exceptions).
While it's been fun to work on my various crossover AUs, oftentimes the lore of each series' doesn't match up well together, and I just find it easier to work on one story based on an already established lore at a time.
I can still work on them as separate stories, but most of the "main" versions of my self ships will be for non-crossovers from now on.
